I don't know if I phrased my post correctly.

I was trying to say that if a RB25DET is capable of 270-300rwkw on standard internals, then a RB25DET NEO that has GTR internals would be able to handle even more power on stock internals.

I know wat u said. But I like to be on the safe side :D

WHOA! Thats alot of power right there, still dont understand why you would build something like that and then sell it, ateast enjoy it a little more, you know you want to

Also, howcome you didnt go external gate on the setup? Do you have any pictures of the dyno graphs?

One final question, how much did it cost to modify the plenum and what was involved? Might steal my friends spare one and chop it up

im doing the same setup to my r34 soon but with a 3L bottom end

Mate, I'll believe it when I see it

    • Sorry for the confusion, I meant would there be heat buildup internally in the S3 that would be detrimental to the ecu situated under the seat but covered over as suggested
    • Navara? If it's a Bluebird, I might throw up in my mouth a little.
    • What heat build up are you asking about? Heat in the wiring providing the power to the Haltech, if remote mounted and power run via the fu(k-da-polees trick wire on the old ECU? Or heat from mounting an S3 inside an original case? I wouldn't run all the power for the Haltech through the trick wire. You just need the activation power. The main power would have to come from an appropriately fat feed. I wouldn't think you could fit the plastic body of a Haltech inside an original ECU case. They're pretty compact these days, but I don't think they're that compact.
    • Nope 😁 1999/2000 model
    • Would heat build up be no issue? Eg; Haltech S3
