hey guys just woundering if you can advise anywhere to get compliance on r33s wich is fats cheap and reliable.

also an overview of cost for compliance and reg. thanks heaps guys

Go to:

http://raws.dotars.gov.au/rawswebpublic/RAWPubSearch.asp

Select "VIC" as your state, "Nissan" as your Make and "Skyline R33" as your model. It'll list ALL the compliancers in VIC who can compliance an R33.

when you ask around, make sure you get a figure including tyres and other consumables, as half the time you'll get a quote for compliance, and when you get a bill you'll have +tyres, +brake pads etc.

Wow, great price, but there's no way they could possibly be doing all the necessary work at that price.

BUT, I'd say if they can guarantee you'll get it at that price, will tell you BEFOREHAND that you will/won't need tyres, and will let you pay AFTER the plate arrives (always a good idea to swap money for plate), then I'd say take it for $990. (On a side note....who's doing it for $990? Lowest I've heard is $1200 but your car will be guaranteed to need tyres and a bunch of other stuff that must be 'fixed' when you pick up the car)

i have heard of a few doing compliance for 990$

its only a matter of time before someone cuts the arse out of R33 compliance and does it for barely more than cost. enough workshops are springing up who whore the Shogun R33 evidence and get their RAWS status, and they all compete against each other.. subsequently pricing each other out of business. for most workshops R33 compliance is bread n butter, and the real profits come from newer cars like V35's and Evo's.

Totally agree with you. We currently have 17 vehicles on our schedule, and these days we have to keep adding new models just to meet our 100 plate quota.

    • That's one of the reasons I got that breed, they look weird, the other reasons are they small, they are very vocal, and run around like they are on crack, I didn't want a breed that just sits around, these two are like kids on red cordial  My daughter has one, and it's a laugh riot, constantly doing Parkour around the house, sits on her shoulder, plays catch, and constantly runs around the house taking turns chasing the dog around, her Bermese though, just lays around with constant bitch face, and just looks on in utter disgust at the cat and dog playing together

    • It's all about the socialisation of the dogs. In that first 8 to 16 weeks of age they need to be taught to be nice and friendly with everything. That way they generalise it to everything. That said, some days you'll just never beat genetics, but 99% of the time dogs chasing cats is purely lack of socialisation, and then the chasing part can turn into prey drive.
