how do i find out if my timing belt has already been replaced??

i have owned it since 116 k, and my mate who had it before me bought it at 109k..so he doesnt even know if it was done...

i donrt really wanna spend the money on a new one if its only 17 thousand ks old!

i could spend it somethin else, like new brakes....

Truth is, unless you've got it recorded in a log book, you'd prob never know.

I bought my silver Stag with 110K on it and I had no proof it was done, so I had it replaced anyway, just to be sure.

Did the waterpump replacement also

With timing belt, its sooooo much cheaper to be safe rather than sorry

Just replace the pump and timing belt anyway, it's not that cheap and for peace of mind it's worth it!
