i went for a hills run last night in the 31 with the roads very slippery.....was much fun. Had to bed in the bottom end bearings so yea..took it for a strap.

Dam straight Damo would rather do SAU them heroin gts4 are 4.1 because they share the same parts from the gtr i think r32 gtst is 4.3 because of the lack of torque from the rb20

Ok, installed an air vs fuel ratio meter that i got form jaycar... now its not the most accurate thing out there... but the fact that i built it and wired it in

merits some satisfaction :P Just thought i'd share! :D Oh coincidently the alarm beeps when i need to change gears! WOO

Edit* Looks cool at night too!! with all the little LED's dancing around XD

i told you up the said check your afm elec. Cleaner might not be enough Damo there over 20 years old

my car almost got defected :D

luckily i got an awesome cop who has given me a week to get EVERYTHING fixed

he did say if he sees it on the road next week in the same condition he will defect it.

oh and my suspension is too low :P which is weird coz no1's lowered it unless my

brother did it it without me knowing lol

you need to unbolt the whole lot and spray the needle on the inside and dont use degreaser

lol damo ner ner...

could be.... i pulled the top AFM off to clean it but it was already sparkling so i didnt bother about the other 1.... maybe its worth looking at...

those chromies on your car damo look crazy when the spokes are painted with 2pac gloss black! a mate of mine did it and they're not bad at all

I was going to say the same thing :P They look pretty good but would look alot better with black spokes

but when i went to arnedale to pick up my mum there was a freaken RBT on the street where the carpark is where bunny had her cruises! cop asked if i had a bov i said yes and it's stock, he let me through :P

      So for the wide band is a Bosch 4.9 correct for the Link G4+ along with a Can bus? Just get the Link gear or is generic ok too? Eg here: LINK LINK DIGITAL WIDEBAND CAN MODULE WITH BOSCH 4.9 SENSOR : KYP Performance House

      Bit difficult to follow. Have a look below and see what the standard R32 layout was like. Note there was a restrictor in place immediately before "turbocharged pressure control solenoid" that, if removed, magically got you 1 bar boost.

      I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.

      Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
