anyone know the part number for the drive shaft boot's? the thing that hold grease.

Noticed mine was split today so i need to get it replaced.

Also, does anyone know what size bolt you need to hold the front calapiers on for r34 gtr brembo's?

Since I don't know what Skyline to get yet, I'm testing the waters by test driving this one:

http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/deale...amp;Make=NISSAN

It'll be the first time I've driven a Line, and I'm still to learn manual :( so it's an Auto for now.

And I know it's not a turbo, I just want to get an initial feel for the car.

ill pay anything for my Ice coffee fix, its a matter of need more than want.

*shakes from withdraws

Do what I do every morning

- 4 x Teaspoon Nescafe Blend 43

- 2 x Teaspoon Sugar

- 1 cm boiled water

Fill to the top with chilled milk, make your own ice coffee, skull then go to work!

LOL don't worry i've been calling it a mutant baby coz it's like 10cm's

when it's meant to be about 4cm's :)

yeah thanks for that ever though your having twins and there on each others shoulder practising for the circus :D

Joe doesnt have those tyres at that price anymore i checked

Also big thanx to Nene for lunch, Ben and Steve for doing my breaks they were really bad and anything you guys ever need help with ill be there much appreciated concidering i have never done anything for you in the past to just want to help and put on a killer lunch thanx guys

you welcome hun, i learnt something too :D i always rush jobs then have to do them twice thanks Ben :(

yea i was very lucky that is for sure!

wow i didnt know you were involved with it steve,i used to be close friends with yazmyn, from what she explained to me and the pictures she showed me of the car she was in she is one very lucky girl. reading what you wrote gave me shivers steve! id like to thank you for everything you did that day.

no problem i even went to visit them in hospital and dropped off a magazine to her given to me by a lady at church i hope she still has it, i only got to speak with her mum but its the gesture that they will never forget

i havnt herd from her for some time now but last i knew she was doing very well and was doing well for herself.i dont know what she was like before the accedent but the yazmyn i knew was a very happy and cheerfull person.

yeah she was in a near fatal accident like 8 weeks prior to that one and had only just gone back to school... poor girl hope her schooling recovered

Me too. Who wants to let me drive their car?? :)

bahahahaha i joke. gosh a skyline? me? no way haha. not yet anyways lol

i'll let you with my imobiliser on :(

i see though! you haven't popped your skyline cherry! because you wouldn't be saying that if you did

mate, dont let a pos like that give you a first glimpse of a 33...not a chance in hell will it impress you...non turbo auto with 180thou on the clock.... go find a decent manual s2 gts-t to test drive.. much different. Oh, i can't believe they want 12 grand for that haha.

so ryan mate since you're like a guru! how would i go by displaying boost on my fc handcontroller? and if it's possible would you be able to do it?

i would be interested in this too, i dont really wanna splash out on the whole pfc boost control kit

pretty sure you can get those boots from supercheap auto etc.

just measure the ones you have so you get the right size.

lol that would be funny seeing them do circus acts haha, but i only heard 1 heart beat thankfully

i don't think i could cope with twins haha

lol im no guru but im more than happy to help. Ill find out what map sensor is suitable for the readout, im pretty sure the n13 pulsar map sensor was used on someone's pfc i seen a while back...maybe cubes knows a bit more than me. Be more than happy to help you guys hook it all up.

hey cheers mate, ill try and scam the map sensor off my sisters n13 pulsar :(

    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
    • Nah, that is hella wrong. If I do a simple linear between 150°C (0.407v) and 50°C (2.98v) I get the formula Temperature = -38.8651*voltage + 165.8181 It is perfectly correct at 50 and 150, but it is as much as 20° out in the region of 110°C, because the actual data is significantly non-linear there. It is no more than 4° out down at the lowest temperatures, but is is seriously shit almost everywhere. I cannot believe that the instruction is to do a 2 point linear fit. I would say the method I used previously would have to be better.
