just a word of caution it will be organised at richmond kartmania

and the boys dont like when people are crashing and bashing their karts...

if you are deliberatly seen doing that they will kick you off their karts

What about drifting them? :P Last time I was there I was chucking it into the corner just after the straight as quick as I could and sliding the whole thing as it tightened up :(

Giving the brakes a huge stab coming into the corner after the back straight is a bit of fun too :D

Yeah I can imagine that'd be grounds for a talking to :P

It was only 2 karts on the track when I was doing so even if I lost all momentum (which is often in the slow Kart Mania rigs) then it wasn't a big deal :D I was just trying to get angles :(

Speaking of Go Karting, anyone been to Greenhills lately?

yeah ive been there older than that youngsta :( do they still have the big bouncy thing? it used to be a lil diff with a harder top making it better for getting crazy air

and yes dont bother with their go karts

spose its a good thing i was planning on pulling my engine out sometime soon. went down to the local bp to fill up, walking back to the 200 i noticed something dripping, so popped the hood, had a poke around, seem to be weeping coolant from around the turbo.

also had some old codger mumble to me (with my head in the engine bay) on his way past; "stupid hoons, hope your cars broken". :( stupid old codger doesnt even know me...

doesnt seem like much of a big deal though, just need to keep a couple litres of demineralised water in the car just in case.

And here's my "Holy Shit that's a pretty decent car that Uncle Daniel would love to have in his shed" links for the day:

A what?! http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/modul...hp?StockID=4727

pantera with a bodykit. would love a pantera, but the 'devil' seems a bit silly, really.

much love for the cosmo. but daily fuel consumption to rival a C-17 globemaster on take off puts me off a little.

Did you reply with 'hey how'd you like to lose a bunch of teeth' Peter Griffin style? :P

Did you hav ethe aircon on while you were going to the servo? If you did i think i know where the water was comming from.

oh, ive bought a set of pads for the s14 as i can hear the current ones squealing, nothing special, just something to keep my brakes going til i get my qfm's and rda's, but uh... ive never changed pads on 4 pot brakes before, so would anyone be willing be help out?

was going to buy a cosmo prior to the stagea

but couldnt even get behind the wheel - made for small people

tune tomorrow, just a quick little one. cant afford anything atm, bills to pay but no money

so, probably just an hour on the dyno mapping 2nd and 3rd gears, for air:fuel ratios and slight fuel/timing adjustments

got a set of 3-guages to go into a din slot, and the injector setup but no moolah to pay for install, yet

anyone interested in ecu eprom tunes?

eventually want to get a wideband sensor, rom tuner and muck around with mine, learn etc, then offer a service to remap r33's on a local dyno?

theyre pretty awesome... if you happen to own a petrol refinery. if you dont, well, youre screwed.

yeah, the fastest car I've been in was a Turbo rotary with 320rwkw. Awesome engines if you don't break apex seals!

i seriously think a decent 20B on idle would go toe-to-toe with a C17 on fuel consumption. ive driven a cosmo with a full exhaust, front mount, couple more pounds of boost, and i could see the fuel gauge dropping in peak traffic. its f**king crazy.

    • I've never played with one, but I would expect that you are correct. That slot looks like it is intended to be used to unscrew the end, and the flats on the body would be better than grabbing it around the round bit with a pipe wrench. So, yeah, probably unscrews. You'll probably have to make a tool to drive in that slot.
    • A bit late but A disk S13P fit over stock R32 GTR brakes, usually A disk front, O disk rear works.
    • Or, the height of the release bearing is not correct for your combo. Start with the bleeding and checking the slave moves throughout its range when you press the pedal (2 person required), but it is possible for the height to be internally wrong too (box back off to measure.
    • Yes, there's quite a few things that can go wrong during a clutch install. Very unlikely. I have a similar clutch. They (ACS) make good gear. No, it is not normal. It is possible that you just need to bleed the clutch slave. But the new clutch will also have a more aggressive actuation force/pressure, and so your old slave cylinder might be a bit leaky or otherwise compromised, and not up to the extra force required. Or the master cylinder, same.
    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
