Need To Make A Template For A Fmic Pipe

hi guys,

Im getting my mate to make me a FMIC pipe. He makes custom chopper exhausts so its kinda his thing.

He said he'll make me one no probs but i need to either

A) give him one he can copy

B) make him a template he can copy...

Question is, what can i use as a template that will be about 2-3inches wide, easy to bend, and hold the shape?

How come you can't let him build it on the car... it would be easier and a better fit, as your template could get warped somewhere in the process...

i dont think he wanted the hassle of having the car there...

dunno i sha'll ask him...it would be better wouldnt it.

yeh i think he'd actually rather it be their, that way he doesn't have to do it twice....

and u can see it as it's getting made so your sure thats how u want it to run (if u do a template the bends might be bigger with steel, so it would put the whole lot out)
