DRD-00F
Where abouts in Syd are you? If you know about computers, and are careful, it's alright... But if you don't know, then I wouldn't try it... I work at a place that does this shit, so if you are anywhere on the north shore (Pymble) then let me know Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/189488-laptop-ram/#findComment-3414470 Share on other sites
justin911
have a look in the manual / bottom of the laptop and it usualy ses which screws to undo to get to what. on my laptop (ibm r52) theres an expansion ram slot on the bottom, the cover just has 1 screw. and the primary one is under the keyboard which is abit tricker but only took about 10 mins. Beer Baron
just open the ram holder cover. clip the ram in. put the cover back on. job done. it's easier than even doing it to a desktop pc. I dunno what doof is talking about with 'knowing about computers and shit'. putting a ram chip in is the easiest thing you can do on a computer. in difficulty terms it's about as hard as logging into windows.
