I just bought some new turbos for more power so these need to go.

There R32 N1 turbos with no leaks.

Brand new stainless dump pipes with seperate wastegate tube plumbed back in. To suit 33gtr but can I can supply them to suit 32. The exhaust gas sensor is a different thread thats all.

Also a really good pfc tune to suit this setup.

I was running stock afms, injectors etc and they have made 292.5rwkw but I had the pfc retuned to a safer more through tune using the injectors and timing maps not just tuning off the afms and it now makes 280rwkw and has seen a little track time with no detination.

If you bought this setup all that would be needed would be a little tidy up of the tune to suit your car. Maybe 1 hours dyno time instead of a full remap. Save big $.

I'm after $1000 for the lot which is cheap considering if your ceramic turbo shits itself an engine rebuild is 5g plus and you also get more power. They are still in the car atm.

Phone if your really interested

It rises up to 20psi and it drops off to 18psi up top so max about 1.3bar. We couldn't get the boost controller to hold the boost up there but in a way it reduces the chance of killing an engine at the higher rpms so its not really a problem.

These turbos have really good response on the track and at motocarna's so it gives the car really good traction/drive out of corners compared to a few cars running singles and there also nice on the street.

If your after really cheap power you can't go past this setup. Its kept me more than happy for the last few years.

I don't know about when they start making boost and full boost but I can tell you that it makes full boost way before a gtr with a to4z due to how it pulls away out of corners and when it was overlapped over a gtr with 2560-5 turbos with around 10rwkw more power the power curves were almost identical apart from the 2560-5's making about 5-10rwkw more once the power graph began to rise.

Hope this answered your question in a round about way. There is no problem with response. Its all about your right foot and how good you are. What are you planning on using the car for? I have used it for track and motocarna and have had performed very well with what I have and have had no problems with lag at any time.

Must go. any offers

hey mate,

i am running a stock R32 GTR, was thinking about upgrading the stock ceramic turbos.

what mods did you have when you got 280rwkw?

i am only looking at replacing the turbos and getting a FMIC and Power FC i dont want to have to change internals.

Brezza you already have a fmic and its good for over 350rwkw so keep it. Save the cash for an exhaust system and cam gears and the pfc and you have the same mods as my car. Replacing the ceramics is a great idea. I've had a exhaust wheel go through a rb26 and its not cheap to repair in a old car. As for internals there are guys in the club running 350rwkw out of rb26's with stock internals so the N1's will be fine.

hey mate,

is the N1 just a rebuilt stock turbo with better bearings and steel wheels?

also what boost were you running to get 280kw?

i would be aiming for around 260kw, something a little more safer and something i can use without stopping for fuel all the time

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
