Consult Cable Data Viewable On Car Lcd Screen

Hey guys,

Just new to the consult cable business and need some info. I have a kenwood 8" touchscreen monitor head unit, just wondering if there is anything i can use to display the consult data on it via the RCA inputs.

I understand i can use a laptop, then use the TV out from the laptop to display onto the car screen, but is there any other way?

I've been looking into building a carPC for the same reason

a few things come to mind

you can check out HKS CAMP which is an old legacy product which does a similar thing to a tv screen

you can do something yourself and another thing that comes to mind is the very subtle apexi i-crusing

check out this little device, very nifty - i would have brought it myself but it requires the consult port and the powerfc doesnt emulate the consult port so it will only work on the stock ecu
