What kinda music you into? Are you wanting to just go clubbing on the coast or are you looking to come into Brisbane?

I haven't been to a large amount of clubs on the goldie, but 3 that I frequent when i'm there are:

As you're staying on the coast, Melba's is always a hotspot, although it gets f**king PACKED. And I mean so damn packed once you've got a drink you just stand there and hope for the best :P They generally play top 40 stuff, with bits of RnB in between. link to Melba's

Howl at the Moon is a piano bar, but it's not classical, it's generally a semi band with a dude on a piano bangin out older style tunes. Good fun if you're not into the clubbing thing. link to Howl @ the Moon

Another place Andy & I usually go when we're on the coast is Hollywood Showgirls. The girls are top quality, and it's a stunning club. You don't have to be at the stage the whole time, there's couches spanning the whole of the club, so if you just wanna chill for a bit you can. I've found the girls aren't too friendly with other females, which shits me to tears, but as long as you've got a wang, you're fine :Dlink to Hollywood Showgirls

Yeah top 40 annoys the absolute sheit outta me 2. If your after hip hop and r n b on the coast then Tuesday nite in surfers 'the bedroom' wednesday night the drink in surfers, Thursday nite 'Crow bar' (Old quest building) in broadbeach friday nite not sure saturday bourbon bar in surfers (despite its rep its not that bad of a club, a bit dinjy but probably the least commercial hip hop club on the coast and the club i hit most out of the above mentioned) What date were u lookin comin up? Dont forget the car scene up hear is pretty good to. Hope this helps

You're missing the charity cruise, that's on the 25th Nov, but there's always something on. Random coffee meets, cruises, mountain drives etc etc I'm actually thinking of posting up a sushi night, followed by some friendly competition at funhouse (big buck hunter, maximum tune, sega rally and so on and so forth) at sunnybank. That won't be until mid december though, so if you're here for that you should come along :P

Like steak???

SEQ has the best steak in the country...

Try Breakfast creek hotel for cheap beer and tip top quality steak.

SEQ once again has some of the best...

Try Bretts Wharf (dont forget your wallet tho for this one)

Action/sights to see try Dreamworld or Movieworld which are awesome theme parks half way to the gold coast.

Want quiet but fun head up the coast to Caloundra or Maroochydore and hit the sand, Qld have some beautiful bitchs i mean beachs...

love steak, cheap beer is even better and 'beaches' are the best. Movieworld i've done b4 but i think im gonna have to do those rides again - dreamworld and wet'n'wild will be new.

Dont know why you call dreamworld lame, it reckon its the best of of the four theme parks in terms of rides...

Giant Drop is awesome and the new Motorbike one is awesome, its quite realistic...

Forget QRide just go on the coaster at dreamworld to get your motorbike licence :)

nah got over dreamworld the 2 nd time i went there its just boring now....went to wet and wild and few weeks back....was good cept felt way to old...and there were way to many fat f**ks there.

Hahah dreamworld is wicked... but the superman escape at Movieworld beats all rides (IMO anyways). Wet n Wild is so much fun. There is a weight limit on the tornado thing, because basically you come down a ramp and them you slide from side to side down a funnel until the end, and if you're over the weight limit you're at risk of sliding too far up the funnel and falling off completely. The weight limit is 160kgs... Andy & I combined is about 190kgs LOL. We thought we were gonna be goneskies but all was well

After the fun rides there's Calypso Beach which is great, you sit your ass on a tube and just float around like a lump of crap. So relaxing after walking around and standing in f**k off big lines all day!

haha sounds awesome. i rekon lethal weapon>>> superman escape though. at least you are sitting down in superman. being tall, im always afraid im gonna clip on of them metal beams on LW. went on it last year. first time i'd ever been on a coaster. had to remove my glasses without which im pretty much as orientated as a goldfish in the gobi. interesting experience to say the least

yeah that tornado was interesting i think the girls i went with...we weighed over that cause we went up the water discharge point....past vertical...i was like.FARKEN HELL!!!!

melbas sucks the wang harcore!

not even enough skanky bitches to kepe me in there!

P.S hamilton islan appears to be rather good :(:verymad:

hamilton island is tops...dont ask for a drink of water though, you will get bashed.

    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
