Member discount cards for those who sign up to the SAU cams club thing? So its not just anyone who signs up to SAU that gets a free discount card but paying CAMS members so we know their full details and it gives an extra thing they can benefit for being a regular member of SAU.

Correct..... I would think it would work that way, extra cruises and so on, for members only, and yes i would hope all details are submited for this sorta thing not to happen, so a proof of identity will be needed im sure!!

id been keen for one of these cards...

just a question where and how do you become a cams member

Its not actually a cams membership, It will be an affiliation which you need to get your cams licence if you want one! Its actually the SAU member ship that you "should" get a card for, and as for discounts, it depends on "if" we get sponsors and "if" they want to give us discounts!!

and heres the link to the SAU club interest http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Eo...ub-t185465.html

It was most definitely not Bl4ck32 as that sort of shit just isn't up his alley.

I only know of 2 (perhaps 3?) 3ltr black Rb20's

I wouldnt have thought it was you Joel, neither bl4ck32 for sure. Only said it as a) know of no others, and b) v.strong painkillers could make you do some crazy shit

thats all. wouldnt have thought so not in a million years, so in all honesty I shouldnt have even posted.

all in all down right LOW in my opinion

any lower than that and youd be rolling in your own ****

Andrew,

Yeah; I believe it recently got stolen too. :S

Tangles.. Its all good buddy. I know it wasn't myself or Bl4ck32 so there's absolutely no stress.

All though I don't like being accused your all good as you didn't actually accuse me. + your bigger than me.. hahah

+ I'm not so stupid or hard up for $$ to pull a shonky such as this.

But for the others.. It did piss me off a little so I cleaned this thread up.

Bl4ck32 has a nice little OS Giken twin plate.. Why would he want a single. + I've known Darren/Bl4ck32 for aaaages.. Absolute top bloke of whom I know would definitely not pull a shonky like this.

it wouldnt have been black32 would it?

Id hope not..

most certainly isnt me :ermm:

i run an os giken twin, as cubes has said. No offence taken there Tangles.

Doubt it, plenty of people could vouch for him, including myself! He came to Boostworx with his hand controller to see if it would work on my car when i had issues!!

BUT if someone wants to come forward they can, It will look better for them!!

im not here defending myself, but anyone who says its me is welcome to come round and have a look at my car which has been defected in my driveway for around 12 months now...with the near new twin still in it....

thanks to those who believe it aint me, cos it wasnt...

did the business see the 'black 32' or did the guy just say he had one?

he could have had a vl with an rb30 and used the 'black 32' as a cover if it was just the theft talking out his ass....

theres so many different possiblilities that might have not even been someone on here, just some random guy browsing SAU?

hopefully this isnt the case and they were really this stupid to give this info out.

kye

Ok peoples, Thanks for all of your input and PM's much appreciated!!

All info has been past onto ACS, a match between info and thier knowledge has happend and the ball is in thier court now, we have cleard our SAU name, and hopefully look forward with dealing with ACS as a Club.

Thanks

Darren

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
