Car Bras, 100k Km Service And New Tyres

Well im planning on getting the front bumper and bonnet resprayed soon(ish) and dont want any more stone chips and dead bugs ruining the paint.

I've seen one in tridents sig and have heard about 33 GTR specific model bras but was wondering if there was one for 33 GTST and where would be a good place to start looking? Are they custom made?

Also 100,000km service coming up soon, apart from the usual replacing what else would be good to do while im spending stupid amounts of money? Coolant flush aswell as all fluids replaced, all belts replaced, brakes please add-on.

Now for Tyres. I know what brand im going to hear first but would they be suitable for the driving i do. Majority is highway kms but i also drive dirt roads for about 3km a day. What model would be suited and what would be the price per tyre be?

- All fluids & filters

- All belts especially timing belt

- Water pump (thermostat while you're screwing around down there? It's a $40 part)

- Spark plugs

- Check all other "consumables" like brake pads, brake rotors, battery etc.

Spot on, and its the ducks squeezed out guts, esp. for locusts, bugs, stone chips etc. It does rub a little bit, but not anything near as bad as bugs and chips. Plus when you put the bra on, you cover it all anyway.

Leech has the addy right. I actually ordered one and it didn't fit properly, but I solved it by driving to Melbourne and getting them to fit one on the spot, so if you have a SII you have me to thank............lol.

If youre looking for a low profile tyre that will handle dirt roads, highway driving and perform well in "spirited" driving, I think youre sh!t out of luck.

If youre looking for a tyre that will give you all round performance for a good price, I can help.

- Maybe consider a new O2 sensor if you have NFI what state it's in (original), esp if you're suspicious of your mileage.

- Try pressing lightly on your radiator if it is the original. If it's VERY easy to cave in/collapse, it needs replacing (like mine does, and it's about the same age as yours I think).

- Should also do the hard drive/head under the bonnet at night test to see if your coilpacks are still ok - new plugs and leads won't help at all if the coils are shot, but you'd know if they were (the mid rev-range farting).

- Change your wiper blades (and arms) you'd be surprised

Replacing radiator entirely was something i was thinking about but thought it was a bit overkill Replaced the O2 sensor a few months back and its something id recommend to everyone, car is getting consistent 600+ tanks of petrol. Been meaning to do the wiper arms for a while, the paint is peeling from them :X

Oh... I just meant the blades haha I reckon it makes a difference if it's still got the original blades on it (as opposed to just replacing the rubber). If the paint bugs ya, just repaint them. Yeah I'm mostly replacing the radiator cos I wanna go back to the track without overheating, it's fine under normal conditions.

600kms+ a tank? Jebus.... You're cars pretty much stock right? Mine is too (power wise) and I'm lucky to get 400 :| I wanna know your secret! Oh.... I just realised you live in Murrumbateman so a lot of your kms are probably highway - I get about 1.5 as far on the same petrol on the highway too, so I guess that makes sense.
