Yeah I think that get up with a meersham pipe would be as good as it gets. Perhaps a faithful collie dog at my side just to round it off.

I have two collies. I should bring them to a meet one day :laughing-smiley-014:

If the engine was in the middle,... does this mean it would be in the cabin ? :)

MR2's are indeed rear engined,... kind of explains why the intercooler was on the boot now doesn't it.

MR2s are mid engine hence the acronym Midengine Rear wheel drive

Difference to remember is basically the lack of rear seats in an MR2, Honda NSX or british MG type cars (also better handling). Rear engine cars like the porshe and VW beetle tend to have more snap oversteer crashes and rear seats. Also i seem to understand these rear engine cars gain an advantage of traction for dragraces having all that weight over the driving wheels kind of like an Front engine Front wheel drive car but in reverse - i do understand that especially with the turbo porshes from the 1980s turbo boost would come on suddenly and fling the rear around to such an extent that legal action was attempted to be taken against porshe as their cars where dangerous because of the boost and rear engine factors kind of worked like a pendulum. Mid engine cars do still have snap over steer - i can attest to this however apparantly its no where near as bad as on rear engine cars or so Top gear would have us believe.

ya.. I want my 2 min back as well. If u want to impress us, try not teaching us how to suck eggs!

you ever even driven a porsche? They are a bit twitchy sometimes, but if u use your BRAIN more than your right foot, they are quite a strong bit of gear.. its very easy to see that porsche was building a real sports car, for drivers. Not over confident weeeeners..

on topic:

I got sent a pic of a Gold MR2 to my fone 2 days ago. This car was in brizzvegas.. intercooler ABOVE the hatch! One way of getting fresh air to it :)

haha this owner of a toyota Kluger has some issues i think his supposed to put a TRD sticker on a toyota not a Rallyart lol spot this thing all over mt gravatt

Also spotted a Holden VL Turbo with MAZSpeed windscreen sticker on it wat a crack up ..

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
