noob question: Skyline ignition barrel

My mate recently got his R33 GTS-T broken into. He had an ignition based kill switch but the thieves were clever enough to rip it out and wire up their own ignition barrel.

Question: Do you need to access the engine bay to wire up the ignition barrel or can this be done within the cabin?

what is a ignition based kill switch?

ignition barrel...u just hookup from the the drivers seat. one plug i think.

cool thanks. I don't know what kind of kill switch he had, all i knew is that they took out his ignition barrel and put in theres - this bypassed whatever kill switch mechanism he had.

The is irrelevant if you have ONE (1) engine immobiliser.
