After the final meeting last night, I just wanted to thank all the committee members, as well as everyone else who volunteered and organized SAU Vic events this year . Once again it was a great year filled with all sorts of events, motorsport and social alike that without all you guys couldn't have run as well as they did .

Congrats to all that won prizes last night, they were certainly well deserved!

I hope everyone has a merry and safe xmas and new year and I look forward to catching up with everyone next year at SAU events :).

Yep, everything Ant said - I'm not sure if it's just because it ours, but it seems as though the Vic club is the best/most active and maybe we take it for granted!

I'm sure the club-s**t (Ant) Could give us a comparison!

SAU VIC FTW!

Thanks to everyone who made the time to come out to our final General Meeting for 2007. Congratulations to all the trophy winners! Thanks must also go to the committee members who put a slideshow together for the meeting. Some very entertaining stuff presented last night. We hope everyone managed to score their free beverage compliments of the committee.

Our special thanks to Chris from Centerline who took time out of his busy schedule to come down and help present awards and answer some questions from people too.

It was also good to see James is in fact still alive and still playing with very expensive toys. That CS was one of the coolest cars I have EVER been in. The exhaust noise and downshifting alone is worth the price tag!

The committee has worked hard this year trying to build on the solid foundation laid by previous committees and after last night's meeting, I think we've done pretty well. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and tireless efforts from committee members this year who have volunteered so much of their personal time to help make the club what it is today.

Hopefully all members present ended up catching up with Bec and confirming addresses so we can send you your Xmas present. The calandar has been in the pipeline for a very long time now and to actually see it become reality is a major accomplishment for this committee and especially Chris who put in all the hard yards compiling and composing all the photos.

Now as we wrap up the year, we wish you all a very merry Xmas and a happy new year. Please drive safe over the holidays and keep out of the way of the somewhat less capable drivers.

Echo the sentiments of others.

This has been another excellent year for SAU and has again proved to be the club to be part of. I have so many good memories from the last 12 months with the club and met lots of new members in that time also. I hope people who have joined SAU, also feel this.

Thanks to the committee also for some awesome events/meetings.

Have a great Christmas and New Year everyone, see you in 2008 for more fun!

SAU VIC FTW
