god-f**king-damn.

i need a girlfriend or some shit.

got home after a 10 hour shift at 9:30, straight into the garage to start making my car look pretty.

just finished up for the night then, and ive still got shit to do!

2 coats of polish, 3 coats of wax (and it still doesnt look as good as i want it to), and ive still gotta vacuum the interior, armorall everything, clean the windows again, etc, etc.

and to top it all off, i spent the better part of an hour armorall'ing the plastic in my engine bay by torchlight... i think ive got a problem ;)

i also found a couple dodgy wires around my head unit (thanks autobarn) that i wanna fix up... bah.

and now, bed time, as i have to be up in *looks at clock*, 6 hours for another 10 hour shift at work... awesome.

see you all sunday.

ps, cara, thanks for the offer to help clean my car, but ive got work taking up the majority of my day tomorrow and a mates birthday shindig afterwards, so i simply wont be able to get the car to your place, but if you feel like bringing some tyre shine with you on sunday... :P

cara rang me bout the generator (probably about 30sec to a min before i loaded it into the ute)..........and id checked with a couple of guys at work because we've been told never to plug the chargers for our battery drill into them..........its something with the way they put out current that is uneven (its not constant like a wall socket 240v). So hence the risk of overheating the inverter then catching fire to stuff

i shall poke my head down in the arvo afta work (and me unloading drift car afta tonite LOL)

cara, the inverter plugs into my cigarette lighter..

mmm maybe that one is different to the one u get to be able to run the stereo without draining the battery, sounds like a much smaller power invertor.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
