I don't get it.... Almost anyone that's been to Spats raves about it. I've been there twice with the mrs and friends and both times the smell in that place was absolutely disgusting (if you can imagine strong parmesan cheese mixed with vomit).... I won't go back there!

parmesan cheese smells like vomit already, how can u distinguish between the two? heh

if you're after a nice brekky for two, najjars cafe on oconnell st makes one of the best english breakfasts u can imagine and its a nice lil' cafe, not too busy

-D

thank you sir!

She is vegetarian, i'm sure they are ok for that? most places are now.

if shes a full on vegetarian then i would highly recommend this place

Just off rundle st. Been there a few times with a mate who's vegetarian and they have very decent food, meals under $20. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the place is fairly cosy and inviting.

Good for a first date, perhaps a bit on the quiet side tho, better have some ideas for conversations. :bunny:

I took my girlfriend out to this place last night: http://www.scampis.com.au/

Food was good, we had the executive platter for two(a whole lobster with loads of other stuff) - bit too much cheese on the lobster I reckon but apart from that the meal was nice. Only problem I had was the attitude of one of the waiter - ordered drinks entree the usual, she goes off do whatever while we decide on the main, she comes back and we ordered executive platter for two and then she goes off saying we dont need the entree the main is pretty huge etc etc in a real poor attitude tone/offensive body language(the way she was standing) - for a fancy place by the beach and a customer spending big dollars buying their best meal I would expect better - made the experience there a bit average, I sure wont be going back.

    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
    • Ahhhh... If you were putting 12V to the led in there, that's likely made it very unhappy. Chances are how you put power, was 12V across an LED that's meant to only have about 20mA through it at peak, and a forward voltage of about 1.8 to 2.4 volts. That circuit is likely only a 3V3 circuit, and will have a resistor in series with the led too. That's my guesstimate on that light, without having touched one.
    • Another vote for installing them and see how you go.  I mean, you already own them, why would you not fit them?
    • I have had too many of those over the years, my cars have a toolkit or at minimum a cheapy multi tool thing because its too easy to be snookered by some stupid plastic clip that stops you checking the battery terminal isn't loose.
