One things you guys gota get right.

Mods, when you do the clean up, you can delete my post aswell if necessary.

Plates in different states are different prices and can't be used in another state.

THE ONE FOR SALE IS A QLD PLATE. Which cost $2000+ Brand new. For 6 characters and maybe a space.

In qld, it is expensive because we have a 1 time payment, unlike other states such as NSW, thats why their plates are cheaper but they have yearly payments forever?

The difference in custom plates (i'm taking as personalised plates) and prestige plates.

Is the fact that personalised plates you have a choice of 3 Letters and 2 Numbers or 3 letters and 3 numbers to create a plate out of, which costs the $425 i think. Then the prestige plates cost $2000+ because you have the freedom to use 6 characters all numbers or all letters to create something unqiue.

Well.. hope that clears things up.

I still can't get over how expensive custom plates are interstate....Here in the NT its about $140 once off payment, up to 7 characters.....
