Sorry Guys,

Please note:

I will be away from Friday 25th Jan, till Friday 8th February.

Keep in mind that these interiors take 4-6 weeks to make...so if you want yours started before I get back, you will have to pay and send me your order this week.

Sorry about that guys....

I can honestly say the quality and fit are amazing.

Even the fussiest people I know have loved these covers. You will never find anything this good for the price. I changes the whole look of the interior (if you want it to) Otherwise you can go for a standard look and give your car that extra style and comfort. (I cant believe it sounds like I'm trying to sell these things again) lol.

I honestly dont care if we get 0 people on this group buy....its just to give some more people a chance to buy these at a heavily discounted price. Remember the normal price for the package is just over $1000.

Picking the colours is the hardest part!

I'm sooo happy with the way mine turned out though....so is everyone else I've spoken to from the first group buy.

You just gotta go with your gut.

Are these covers actually some sort of leather or are they synthetic ?

its not real leather, you would be lucky to get one seat done at that price in leather, i think they call it a leathette from memory

its meant to be the next best thing

Hey Zimmi,

Im interested if the buy has not gone ahead already. Do you have a link to the Ebay store so i can get some more info?

Cheers.

Ditto, I am interested, I contacted Ultimate Auto Trim about a month ago for my GTR and the full package was quoted at $900. So if this group buy is still on I am in !

  • 2 weeks later...

hey zimmi,

Are you still able to get these following options at NO EXTRA COST like in the first group buy??

Logo in front/rear seats or both

Wrinkle/pleats in 'leather' front/rear seats or both

Can choose colour of the double stitching

Can choose to have 1 or 2 tone colour

You can also choose to incorporate the new perforated 'leather' into your design.

Will you be doing more of these in the future???

Hey guys,

Sorry, I have been away for 2 weeks.

Group buy is on until the 23rd of Feb.

All the extra such as logo's and pleats in the leather, and different double stitching colours ect. These are all free of charge when the package is ordered.

We currently have 3 on this group buy. But its ok as there is no minimum due to the amount we had in the last group buy (26).

These interiors can definately be made for R33 four door....just make sure you state that its a four door when ordering, as we had a guy in the last group buy who didnt mention his R32 was 4 door, and he had to get his back seat cover slightly modified.

P.S. The covers for the GTR seats look HOT!!

    • My car is also flex tuned. It's worth mentioning it (the LS1 ECU) has a 1D table for E85 addition and just uses the ethanol stoich part as the second point of reference. It also as a 3D timing map for Ethanol adjustment. You would think this isn't enough but it works pretty damn well. That said, I wouldn't want it in turbo application. It's like lifting non-natty, or taking meth. It gets you unrealistic results that break down more things going forward. If people used it to make the same amount of power they do on 98 then it'd be one thing. But people use it, crank it up to eleventy million PSI, it doesn't knock - but it pushes the point of failure to another, more expensive thing to break. Every time I see someone make 280kw on 98 and 350kw on E85 on the same equipment I just cry a bit and really wish they would just stay on 98 in that exact scenario. It's bad for you.
    • This is kind of what I was thinking but the temp sender wire and the two pressure switch wires run through the starter subharnes and I eliminated the two pressure switch wires completely.  @GTSBoy I have a can gauge with unusually bright warnings should the oil pressure fall so the factory light isn't needed. I need to dig out my wiring diagram and see if I can sort this out.
    • It's a valid point. And it is doable with the Nistune. But I'm not inclined to flex it the way Nistune does - certainly not on a Neo ECU. They're already pernickety enough to tune just one one fuel. And of course, I'm not that interested in putting in a Link or similar, on a daily. With the stock ECU, stock looking turbo, etc etc, I still stand a chance of surviving a run-in with the plod. Last time it went over the pits (which was for the transplant, for because of a run-in with the plod), the Nistuned ECU did not even raise an eyebrow. They want to see a stock ECU running the engine, and they are happy to see it do so without the check engine light** on. Never mind that the Nistune is necessary to make the stock ECU work in a different chassis without ABS, TCS, etc. **And they actually provoke the CEL to come on by disconnecting the AFM, to prove that the globe hasn't been pulled!
    • This is why you flex fuel it...
    • That is what I took from it too. Needed to go AWD S14 imo.
