Looking at heading out to Willowbank test and tune night on Wednesday, 6th of Febuary to give the Stagea a run

Have a few mates heading out in skylines and motorbikes to run aswell

If all goes well on the dyno next week, I will be running my car

Let me know if you are interested, either to watch, have a run or a laugh, so we can meet up.

For the guys that live out at Ipswich way, I expect you to be there :)

CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN

NEW DATE WILL BE IN APRIL

Had my car tuned yesterday, have a few issues that will have to be sorted out after next week

But I will still be running.

Anyone who wants to meet up, PM me your mb number so we can arrange something

whats Up with the tune?

Tune is fine, but wastegate acutator not holding boost. Gets to 15psi and drops back to 12.5psi

Was wanting to run 17-18psi. Tried adjusting the rod a few times which helped. Boost controller struggles to hold/adjust.

Now looking for a new actuator approx 12psi. current one is about 6-7psi.

Is it day or night? My night vision is still shot, and will be for some time, apparently. I am allowed to drive during the day, however...

It starts approx 5-5.30pm and runs into the night

yeah from what i understand of course you can come. It is $36 to run for the night (by memory) and it includes driver and co-driver (passanger). It not limited to Stagea's we have an array of skylines bikes and other cars going. cheers, hame

Hey i'll be there in the r33 hopefully, were we meeting up before hand. you meeting up with ben? pm me man. cheers hame.

I work with Ben, so will follow him. Have not actually discused a time etc.

Will on Monday

It is a open night for any car or bike. It is test and tune night, so they will be proper drag cars aswell.

I was just after few stagea's to come along so there was some other fat arse cars as well. :(

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
