Oil Usage

hey all i recently bought a 1996 r33 s2 gtst its got a few mods 2.5 exhaust bosch 040 fuel pump dual stage boost switch and custom intercooler it has been tuned 2 200kw's and it blows alot of black smoke, my air fuel guage says its running ritch but thats ok its only fuel and id rather it run ritch than lean, anyway i did a service 3000 k's ago and i checked me oil today and the dipstick was dry, is this normal??? my dad rekons the valve stem seals are shot cos it blows black smoke on deceleration but i have no idea it has no leaks at all im so confused. cheers

Lots of black smoke would indicate rings being f****d like mafia said. Dry oil is a bit scary though Drop the oil out and see how much comes out, if its barely anything id be looking at an engine rebuild if its chewed through all your oil in 3000kms.

Do you have a wideband O2 sensor in the car? If not that air-fuel ratio gauge wont give much of a proper reading so yeah its going to pretty much just say its running rich all the time.
