True, I'm sorry, I wouldnt be sitting around on a forum if it was me.. A skyline is not going to sit in bankstown long.

I am truly sorry for your loss, it must be hard.. Killswitches are your fwend :) lol

Also, decim8 i would be sitting around on a forum posting as much As I could because I would realise there would be a hugeeeeee Import audience to take it all in and hopefully see something or a part for sale.

And also the fact that porno is close by with the ratta tat tat and click of a few buttons to ease the pain.

Good luck in finding your car dude I am truly sorry about your loss and I hope that karma f**ks these losers up hardcore, because.....it will..... Karmas coming to rape you.

God dammit, this is so wrong.... bollocks thieves.... bring back chopping a limb off or the gallows, im serious........

the government here are so bollocksing stupid. What a fine and some community service is going to stop them???? Hmm lets see community service they will rock up and won't give a flying bollocks and probably sms and talk on there mobiles half the time and the fine? pfffff that would make them more gaim to recommit and say steel a R34 GT-T and sell it off to pay the fine plus some extra money in there pockets for there erotic Scarface fantasy life to start rolling....Only it woould not go like that if I was Prime minister.... The only shit that would roll would be there heads or there hands flapping down the hill after a sharpt JAPANESE katana slices them off.

Hi Kevin,

My heart goes out to you. I'm new to the Skyline family. I'm fortunate that my fiance gave me his R34 NA GT. He has an R33GTST of course.

I'm always out. Always making sure that my car is locked up with club lock and all. It has an immobiliser which I am thankful for.

Anyway the reason I'm writing here is that my ex bf (f**ker) knows this bloke who's in this car stealing business for rebirthing and stripping it for parts. When we were together he'd only just met this bloke and I told him to be careful coz this guy could just be getting close to him to steal from him.

He had his own business at the time and a few weeks after meeting this bloke his van got broken into and his $600 and $900 ladders got stolen along with set top boxes ($200 each) and his $600 drill (which he hid well, but not well enough).. and I told him that whoever stole his s**t must know him and know where he kept these things. He was so naiive.

Maybe you should look at someone closer to home. Maybe someone you'd recently met around the time you bought the car. Goodluck to you

^ yea there are a lot off dodgy ppl around the area who are into stealing cars.. Just matter of time before they get caught

Best bet is what you said.. lock up the car, make sure its in clear sight, have an immobiliser etc etc..

Anna spotted ya fair few times around the shire!! Cars looking good :D

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
    • Good luck on the weekend mate
    • Must have been an absolute nightmare to drive when the power steer was out, the rack ratio/wheel size/caster is all set up for power assistance
    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
