I don't recommend it, but those cheap HID kits will get what you want.

Plug and play.

When looking for which globe to get, 4300k, 6000k, etc, go for 4300k. Any more and you're doing it for the looks. 4300k is the brightest of all and gives a white light, should be same as sun light colour.

Edit: Either that or just spend money on some quality globes from the Philips range. They're not HID so it won't produce a shitty cut off line and hot spots (which is a good thing).

Go for 5K lites in h1 size and you'll be laughing... very bright (close to hid intensity without the flare and glare of course)... if you don't want to go hid, these are the go!

Most of the ones on ebay will last you 8-12 month which is pretty good....

Those cheap ebay globes you've posted up will do nothing except give lower light output due to the extra blue paint they throw on the globes to produce the colour.

Go for something from the Philips range. May be more expensive, but will be worth it. It'll give a brighter light and last longer than those posted.

I don't want you to get those HID kits so I'm not even gonna tell you the price of them or which globe type you'll need. :P

I picked up some Raybrig halogen globes while in Japan. And can honestly say they are the best halogen globes ive ever used.Bright light and has the white blue tinge to them.

99% of the china "HID" style globes give crappy light output.

Raybrig 4400k FTW!

I am using these now, have last over 12 months and looks awesome... it's very bright white light with only a dash of blue which makes it look awesome but visibility is awesome too...

how come the one u sent the link of along with the ones i sent link off, dont need kits? and the more expensive ones do? is that cuz the HID kits are old technology?

The kit ones are the ACTUAL HID globes. Those other ones are just 'wannabe' ones. haha. HID kits are new-ish technology. It's just that they're not suited to our headlights so it's not good to use them.

When you see "kit" then it's the actual HID version, ones that say "HID" but don't have anything to say about "kit" would be just normal halogen globes which are trying to look like HID globes (colour wise).

hid's were the best mod i ever put on my car, how come none of u guys like them, they make the road so much clearer and make the car look better at night

Installing HID globes in a car's headlight which was designed for halogen globes will cause the light output to glare, hotspot and blind oncoming drivers. It's better for you, but bad for the oncoming drivers. Oh and I forgot to mention that they're illegal, but then what isn't these days.

    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
