Just got my R33 on the road :) , so i am now after an alarm, after looking around the choice has come down to the following 2 alarms, so just wanted to know which of the two would people recommend, i am looking at the Cyclops P375B-T which i think comes with 2 circuit immobiliser and Ultrasonic Sensor and the Mongoose M80AU which has 3 circuit immobiliser and Ultrasonic Sensor.

I can get the M80AU, for $450 installed thru platinumPPI, but have no idea where to get the Cyclops one from, anyone can recommend an installer in Sydney?

Thankx

Daniel from PlatinumPPI is a very nice guy, I bought my Mongoose M80G from him

I would say go with a Mongoose unit

You will find Daniel will recommend the M80G over the M80AU as the sensors on the M80AU sometimes goes off in heavy wind - which can be quiet annoying

The model before, M80AM is more made for convertibles so there's no point

The model before, M80G has everything you need and is much easier to install

Has all the useful features you would use - nothing useless and extra that isn't necessary

Thats the advise Daniel gave me as I was after an alarm that would do its job, nothing fancy with features I wouldn't use and also something that wouldn't be set off every 5 minutes when someones walks to close to the car or another car with a loud exhaust drove past

ive always used cyclops in my cars, and installe heaps of them too. I have never seen one fail. Plus you can add anything onto them. Microwave sensor (single and dual stage) ultrasonics (sinle and dual stage), tilt sensor, shocksensor, glass breakage sensor, reomote start, auto elec window up and down, works with ur turbo timer etc etc. Can get them from strathfield pretty cheaply. Guarantee youll be happy with it. Look at the S74B or S75C/
