I am putting in an aftermarket outlet pipe (turbo elbow). I have never done this before i have heard stores of people breaknig the bolts and having to get them drilled out. So my question is Anyone got any suggestions on how to make changeing this oulet pipe out and making my life alot easyer?

WD40 or Lanotec and patience is your friend. Apply a little bit over a couple of days and leave it to penetrate. And use some anti seize when you reassemble.

The only problem areas I've encountered is with the studs used for manifold:head, and turbo:manifold. Dump pipe has never been a problem.

My 2c is make sure you use the right tools...Good quality spanners that are the right size...This goes for all occasions but especially with exhaust nuts because they can be pretty tight. Always use a ring spanner of you can..

If you cuts corners with cheap spanners or the wrong size it is pretty much a given you will take the corners off nuts turn a 2 hour job into a 2 week one...
