I've found stealth wings on psiparts, spoilershop, carmate and unique auto sports.

Does anyone know if one exists with a built in LED tail light, similar to that on my GTR wing:

If not, i wonder if its possible to mod the stealth wing before prepping and painting...

Also does anyone have a recommendation on what stealth wing to go for? spoilershop was twice the price of psiparts and carmate, im not sure if thats because the quality is twice as good? From what i can tell, they all look pretty similar.

Any thing is possible with the right money :). I have seen them b4, but I cant remember, sorry. And I dont think the spoiler shop's merchandise is any better, just twice the price cos they can. I may be wrong tho, so dont quote me on that

all i did was put the normal stealth wing on, then wired up another brake light from the original wires to the spoiler light.

I bought the led brake light at autobahn, and just stuck it with double sided tape to the top of the rear window.

That is if you are doing it for legal reasons

I have to agree with you, the LED light on the spoiler just makes it look so much more tougher and classy.

However with the Stealth wing or "no-wing" wing as I call it, never has come with the LED brake light and never will.

For the R33, no wing looks better than the GTR one.

I agree, always wanted the sleak look since i got my skyline a few years ago, just never got around to spending some money on the exterior.

Sounds like i'll have to mod the stealth spoiler myself!

The stealth wing i purchased from Jetspeed bout 5 years ago (not sure if they are still open) had a hole for the LED barke light but i actually filled it in..

So they do exist. The mould they used was off an original item brought over from Japan. Not a mould made from a fibrglass unit like all te ones these days..

I sent jetspeed an email (they're still around), but said they've never sold anything with the hole for the light. hrmmm.

Just for anyone's future reference...

Can get stealth wings with the LED light bar from http://www.autoworx.com.au/

They only charge an extra $66 for the light.

Thanks for the info steveo_r33!

    • Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable!

The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
