and here's my r33 series 2 1996.

lowered on some kings, tinted glass,4x345 koyas, sony double din and sony xplod high power speakers.must add the dealer put some federal tyres on the wheels and had the courage to say they are middle range quality tyre, well they are ok but dont get em wet because at the slightest touch of the accellerater they really are all over the place so dont take your mum for a spin in the wet in federals...got to go 2/10.might get a set of maxxis next, and feel a bit safer about it.

my r33 has been flawless in 3 .5 years....just an ultratune or so and a new battery and thats about all.actually a good investment!!!....but using it bit less now with fuel looking like its becoming a bit of an expensive option.

cheers......from the mansion.

Update..

gtrbonnetbv1.jpg

For those who dont know..

the GTR bonnet is Alluminium and light as a feather.. even copaired to the heavy weight GTST bonnet.

Saved just over 15kg :D

Have another trick or two up mt selve once it is at the paint shop :)

Oh.. just a question..

Help me decide..

Do I;

A) Paint the bonnet and grill silver to match the rest of the car

B) Paint the bonnet matte black and the grill silver

C) Paint the bonnet and grill matte black?

sorta matches your wheels as it is now...have you got future plans to upgrade those?

you could always be different and paint your A and C pillars along with the roof and boot the same colour as whatever the bonnet is!

tho i dunno how that would look....

prolly a bit lame...

but originality!

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
