Cam Angel Sensor

hello people

i was recently trying to set my timing to 15'degrees btdc..i can get it to this setting but when i tighten the bolts up on the cam angel sensor (cas) my timing drops back to 10'degrees btdc do i have a faulty cam angel sensor or is it something else that is causing this?

keep the 3 bolts tighter, so you need to tap it with a screwdriver to adjust it, that way it doesnt move when you torque the bolts in.

yeh thanks mate shouldn't need to do that pritty easy to hold it while doing up the bolts... got a new cas yesterday everything fixed now

one quick question what should the timming read on cold start??

it shouldnt move. 15 degrees constantly. take it in for a dyno tune so your not robbing yourself of valuable KW and you can make sure the car isnt running too lean or rich.
