Woohoo 'bout time someone else joined Jeno, Jo and I at the hillclimb... next one is on the 25th May, having a break in June then having a 2 lapper in July.

C'mon Donnan, you should come to this one :)

I'm hoping Ben and Alex will be there too.

Should be out there, just my tyres are a little low after texi... So i will be a little lacking in teh grip department, But it will be my first time out there and my second event in the GTR so i will be taking it slow.

Unless i take the open wheeler

Bring 'em both :)

i bought 2 tyres today from north west tyres on wollongong street in fyshwick today, cheap as, they were only 205/55/16 though but still $80 a tyre fitted

You should have asked me... We have the 595EVO available in 205/55R16 - Awesome tyre...

Now you know :P

Congrats Michele on the win, not like they ever stood a chance.

Sorry we only got to see the last 3 laps. hope you enjoyed yourself.

Those last three were my best (which surprised me, they didn't feel like it) but I think I must have been showin' off cos you guys were watchin' me LOL

Oh bugger - it's now been edited :( - ignore above link, the content has changed and for some reason the button to EDIT is missing from my posts.

So here is what it said before the edit

Guys and Gals

I've just downloaded the data from Michele last run and yes - she was showin' off!!

She was carrying 200km/h through the kink on the straight and breaks down to 85 km/h in 5 seconds - gotta be happy with that!!!! :D

I think these smilies tell the story :O ...... :D .... :) ..... :)

We have analysed the data a bit more and an update:

Michele is pulling about 1.2 Gs (lat - thats pushing her sideways) through the corner. As Michele goes into the corner she is doing about 164 KM/h, so her braking from 200 KM/h down to the corner is in about in 41m in .8 of a second. As Michele hits the brake she is pulling about 1.2 Gs forward movement too. This is into corner two (one after the kink).

Few other stats:-

- corner onto the straight - pulling about 1.3 Gs side movement.

- fish hook - about 1.4Gs side movement

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
