Shift Solenoid B Is Dead

i did a transmision diagnosic b4 to try and work out what was playing up in my transmision. and i think i managed to nail it down to the shift soleniod b. where is it. how do i change it. what with n where do i get it. and is it easy fixd? cheers :thumbsup:

I think Dale has an FSM - but its in japanese!

you might be able to get hold of that and sweet talk into someone having a quick look at it

( preferably someone that can read japanese ! )

they should be able to read the table of contents- go to the right chapter and have a look around for you! I have noticed a few relays etc hanging behind the kick panels , not sure if thats them though !

it is in the valve body, accessed by removing the pan, something best left for a transmission shop, not because difficult, but very very messy and time consuming without a hoist etc. Maybe do all the solenoids while you are there, or even a shift kit! My solenoids were replaced as part of my shift kit mod..

Mine seems to have the same problem!! Some info on this would be great like location of it and what and were to get a new one
