This thread is an expression of interest at this stage as this whole kit is currently running on my car and I will only remove once a sale is finalised

Alright down to business, complete bolt on kit for RB20/RB25 to make some decent street/track power

The kit comes with a HKS cast low mount manifold. This manifold is made of cast material same as the standard manifold, it also has an external gate port at the top. Sound better than the stainless manifolds in my opinion

Sits in the low mount position to retain a standard look and won't crack at any stage unlike stainless manifolds

You can also slap a big turbo on it and keep it low mount!!

The manifold is also wrapped in ACE heat wrap to help keep the heat in and get a nice quick spool

HKS external wastegate which is currently running a 0.7bar (10psi) spring, but I currently have it boosted up to 16 - 17psi on my RB20. It won't boost anymore as the spring is too weak so 17psi is about the most you will get with this spring in there

HKS T04e turbo which has tags to indicate it was rebuilt in Japan, when, I don't know but can confirm its in perfect working order with no abnormal or excessive shaft play at all

Comp cover is 0.5 and exhaust housing is .63, perfect for any RB20 or RB25 motor

I get full boost, 17psi by about 4,500 RPM on an internally standard RB20 motor, just the usual bolt on upgrades and it holds boost very strong all the way to 8,000 RPM

3" metal intake pipe to suit A31/R32/R33 - Has provision for blow off valve plumb back and rocker cover breather and also 1 vac line outlet. Also has silicon joiner for it to fit on the turbo

3" mild steel dump/front pipe that runs down to the cat converter, will also bolt straight onto any R32/R33 with no issues. It has a provision just before the end of the front pipe (where it meets the cat) to plumb back the external waste gate.

The external wastegate pipe is also mild steel and has a flex pipe thing built in for any movement, all fits nice and snug on any R32/R33

I can also have a atmo screamer pipe for the wastegate if you wish to block up the front pipe and run the ex gate atmo :P

Brand new PIRTEK braided oil feed line with all fittings. Will bolt straight up to any RB20/RB25 block and has all the brass fittings from the turbo to do so, line is quiet long so you could even run it on a high mount setup if you wanted too

Also have the metal oil return elbow that runs off the turbo

This is a complete kit, once again will bolt up to any RB20/RB25 motor and will drop straight into any R32/R33

I will throw in the bends off the turbo and also the joiners so you can retain all your standard cooler piping to the turbo as you would use with your standard turbo, I can say this setup looks very standard when done properly besides the external gate of course

Like I mentioned above, I will remove the kit once someone has secured the purchase and I am also willing to show the kit working on my car running 16 - 17 psi

Please don't waste my time, serious offers and interest only - Not separating at this stage either, just want a quick straight forward sale

Don't post comments in the thread if your not interested in purchasing, if you feel the need to comment please PM me

If I am missing any information let me know and I will post it up to the best of my knowledge

Thanks mate

For those who are located interstate and have asked about shipping, I will have the kit freighted/couriered interstate at your expense

It wouldn't cost too much but just because its heavy and a few things are delicate I wouldn't trust Australia Post to ship it

Price is negotiable so PM me and we can work out a price including shipping :D

    • Ok so after much research and talking with knowledgeable people I've got my turbo conversion done and it's all running great other than 1 small issue.  Car has remained auto with the na auto and tcm, I've used a stagea ecu with. NIstune board and everything is great other than my gear selection on the dash. It illuminates park, reverse, neutral, 3rd and 2nd. But nothing drive or what gear your in when you pop it into tiptronic.  I'm sure there is may e 1 wire in the ecu plug I need to move to rectify this. Dose anyone here have any ideas?   Cheers guys
    • Sorry I haven't been following all the detail, so you may have tried this. Does it idle with the tiniest bit of throttle you can add? You've mentioned the IACV, does it have an AAC valve and have you adjusted it at all (ie, screw the idle adjust screw all the way in, then back it out a couple of turns until idle is stable)?
    • My bad, I unplugged the one underlined in red instead of yellow before. With the car started, after unplugging the IACV (the one underlined in yellow), it idled at around 400/500 for 3 seconds before stalling. Attempting to start the car without the IACV will not start the car.   It does stutter and sputter for around 5 seconds before dying. However, immediately after starting it, you can already hear some slight sputters from the exhaust.   It won't start with the AFM unplugged. If it is when the car has already started, it stalls in a few seconds.   Yesterday, I did take some logs using Nistune of 3 scenarios. Car idling till it stalls Car idling and unplugging the IACV Car idling and removing the AFM I also have some previous logs of when the Car is idling till it stalls and when driving and it cuts. I am not really knowledgeable enough to understand what to look for. After every test, car idles rougher and rougher, until I have to stop. It will be fine the day after.
    • There is no difference between a 17x8 and an 18x8. The total diameter of the tyre needs to remain +/- the same (so you don't mess up the gearing, speedo reading, and clearance when turning front wheels..... so you just need to use a lower profile tyre on th 18 than you do on the 17. /rocket surgery.
    • I thought the same to start with. But then I thought it was one of those LCAs where the end of the ARB goes through a bushing in the LCA itself, instead of having an end link.
