go the old rollas!

me and two other mates pitched in for a ke55 goin back about 4 years now. Welded up the diff centre, and dodged up a straight pipe exhaust with one rear muffler from some late model 4cyl car. Best fkn fun ever with the locker, and this thing did the biggest keybangers i've ever witnessed... hours and hours of laughs and stitches.

The 55 copped the heiding of its life... we couldnt destroy the fkn thing! (mechanically)

LOL!!!!! keybangers are just the f**kin funniest thing ever!

some other good candidates that my mates have owned over time that pulled some beautys: Toyota tarago (old school 80s model with the engine under the passenger seat), TD gemini, Datto 120Y, and the good ol RWD mazda 323s...

where did you get that model car of urs mate ^^^^ i was looking at getting one for my car but couldnt find one!!!

I got it from a store called Genki Dori, just google them. can be abit pricey because they are in Japan shipping cost me more then the shell If I remember right.

they sell a good collection of skyline shells, except they dont seem to stock R31's or R35's

Get your Ducati, and keep it at my place :) I'll take real good care of it for you.

Im sure you would :( I need a bike license first

Surgon said anohter 3 weeks but shhh dont tell mum this weekend moto is coming out :)... Thanks to Angus Meek for action photo of Gandies Step-down as well as Trak Cycles, Duncon Bikes and Fox racing for support.

one of my creations.

yamaha 05 model yfz450 quad

with a 06 model zx10r ninja engine.

ive had it up to 180kph across a paddock,

but the tyres are'nt speed rated so they grow a fair bit.. grrrr.

but its geared for 230kph at the limiter in 6th.

i will find some motard tyres for it and bring it along to the next dyno day.

Hmm, giving me ideas now LOL

Should take that to the drags one day when the new track opens. I'd pay to see that for a laugh.

Watch the crowd sneer at it and laugh, then watch their jaws drop when it bags it up and takes off like a bat outta hell.

:spank:

man yamahas r1's are so nice i do plan on getting 1 by the end of the year i heard its gone upto 300 to get ur bike license is it true?

So you're 18, have no bike licence yet, but reckon you'll have an R1 by the end of the year? :)

Are they selling you a headstone to go with it? You can't legally ride an R1, and there's no way you'd have anywhere near enough skill to ride one illegally ... you'll only kill yourself. Just get yourself an Aprilia RS125 ... they're learner legal and still lots of fun to ride.

Out of all the bikes I've ever owned, ridden or raced, my RS250 was the most fun I had.

haha +1 with wat ruby said.

i had my license for a while and even after 2 years on a 250 i still wasnt ready to go to 600, u just dont gro up and get on one of those in a year.

buy a cbr250 take it mallala track days, learn how to ride without touching rear brake and practice.

sum ppl may think that sounds stupid not touching the rear brake but think about this, the back wheel has a gyro in it and when u brake the weight transfer goes to the front so it now 70-30 or more, so if you touch the rear brake it slows down that gyro and as soon as weight distribution is even again the back gyro is spinning slower then the front causing it to skid and come out on you, hence why alot of young kids cant ride coz the rider safe program only teaches u slow movements (waste of time really)

but yeh im not pro but i used to work with two bosses who are bike crazy and one of them raced in the superbike series for years.

Why would he die? It's only as fast as his right hand. Sure he'd have more fun on something a bit more sensible and learn a lot more, and i would never recommend a learner start on a litre hyperbike. But skills got nothing to do with him dying, it's a lot about attitude.

Kralster, situational awareness comes into it, big time.

Takes time to learn, undoubtedly. Wont happen overnight - even saying that some things you cant forsee.

I had a 750cc Ninja within 9months of applying for L's. Could have had a litre-eater, but was trying to be sensible. Well, as sensible as possible, considering...............

I never use the rear brake on the street, and only ever use it on track to "correct" the bike into/out of a turn. I use my weight on the pegs alot anyway to do all that.

BS. You could have the right attitude and still kill yourself thru lack of skill. Simple.

For starters, there is no way he could legally ride an R1 by the end of the year. No way. Take a 125 and live longer fool.

He's a fool too if he thinks he can handle an R1 as long as you're "responsible". Ha, I've seen 2 teens in the last 2 years kill themselves on R1s and I've heard of many other teens meeting death on 1000cc machines too.

Riding a 1 litre sports bike requires attitude + skills + experience + protection. This guy has got none of that.

Me and my buddies see a 'squid' out on a bike they shouldn't be riding, we shut their bike down and toss the keys away. Doing them a favour.

sell me the TLR1000 before you flog it off to some other nut

I have been considering selling it for some time, but I haven't made it a solid decision yet :ermm:
