Hancook tires

a mate of mine told me that hancook dont make very good tires,

bought the car with them fitted and they have heaps of tread left and are 235s so i think theyre just fine but has anyone heard anything bad about them

There not too bad for the price but seing as they have heaps of tread left then why not just use them up first and then upgrade to sumthin better later. It all comes down to what driving sytle you have and if your just gonna use them for the street or ocassional track day aswell.

yeah, i am happy hwith them for the moment and wont be changing till i need to,

just started wondering when i heard they were an inferior brand but they feel real good and thats all that matters to me.

that's right bro, unless they feel really bad then just keep them. All comes down to how comfortable you feel with the tyres.

Jimbo2000, what was the reason for your mate not to like them?

As far as I know (after speaking to several tyre shops) Hankook are one of the better brands of tyres for $$$ going round. I dont think they've been in Australia that long and are still trying to establish a name for themselves.

i run the ventus k series tyre with silcia compound good grip even with hard driving good wet weather tyre to can't complain
