Hey guys, l've been looking at this front + dump for a while now, but just want some confirmation before buying.

BATMBL has been fabricating these exhausts and from what I can see he's been getting pretty positive feedback. The thread can be found here.

Just wanting to know if anyone's ordered the R34 GTT front + dump (+ high flow cat) for their S2, and is it a direct bolt on?

If anyone has any feedback or can tell me if the fitting for the S1 is the same as S2 are the same/different, please let me know.

edit - ed the link.

R34 gtt dump pipes are approx 100mm longer than R33's and a different shape.

I have a series 2 with a R33 dump, but it does have a series 1 cat back fitted

Unless series 2 stagea catback's are shorter than series 1, which I can not answer, the R34 dump will be too long

If you can measure the length of your series 2 factory or aftermarket cat back, I can check it against what I have.

For us lazy buggers can u give a link to that combo on nengun?

Well any skyline down pipe should fit, and I was looking at this. Unfortunately it looks like don't have them for a WGNC34 anymore, just the 260RS'.

So a little stuck right now..

So.... I've been looking around and found this shiny thing on ebay. I contacted the guy and he said he makes the parts for both S1 and S2's.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be many bolt on options at the moment..

damn, yeah looks like nengun no longer list stagea split dumps. re: the shiny one, I just wondered: the bypass tube (not sure what it's called sorry) doesn't look like it comes very far down the pipe before it rejoins?

yes ser1 and if it fits an r33 gtst it will fit your stagea end of story..

Alright excuse me for sounding like a dumb sob; but I need to clarify this.

S1's have the same engine as a R33, so an R33 front + split would work.

Since S2's have an R34 engine, would a R33 front + split still work?

Just a little confusing if a R33 front + dump pipe would fit.

I think you have missed the issue with which dump pipe fits

All R33 dumps fit the turbo in series 1 and series 2

The problem with dump pipes not fitting is some hit the floor just before the cat.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
