Help! My Bluetooth Keyboard Isn't Working Anymore

Hi, just have this problem ever since I bought a new computer.

I have this old first gen MS bluetooth keyboard and mouse set. It worked on my old PC with Vista but the keyboard isn't registering on my new computer anymore only the mouse is. Anyone know how to fix this?

I had a problem with a logitech keyboard it wouldn't work but the mouse did. However sometimes the keyboard would work if i changed batteries even though all of the ones i used were full.

My only suggestion is obviously make sure the batteries are fresh and if you can use a bluetooth usb key to connect the keyboard use that instead of the keyboard/mouse inputs on the back as they dont work very well with wireless.

Otherwise make sure the software is installed properly, maybe uninstall then re install too.

I tried installing the software, but said this version cannot be used on Vista, even though it worked on the old computer and without installing anything.

sigh.....very annoying.
