very easy for all to criticise the guy when so very few on here have done this for a living. Everybody has that " Button " inside that if pressed the right kind of way will result in uncontrollable rage...And yes I am guilty of what the bouncer did also once.... Why? well I copped a cheap punch in the face from a guy bigger than me when I wasnt looking...Rage took over...Before I knew it I kicked the guy 6 feet across the floor...Do I regret what I did ? Yes I do....But I am only human...I have my limitations..just like that bouncer did

professionals keep their "buttons" well hidden. 'uncontrolable rage' is not part of the job description; that's how people get seriously injured and it's what sometimes, gives bouncers a bad rep.

Judging by Emsta's first post, saying that the drunk guy assaulted innocent bystanders, and tried to drag someone out of a car, to me it's completely justified. Also, whats to say whether or not he made a swing at the bouncer himself? I haven't seen the footage, or heard about any of it, as I've just got back from Sydney.

The media are so full of shit just to make a headline aswell. I've seen it happen recently with someone who is pretty close to me, and some of the stuff they put to print is outrageous.

yes I would like to know that also....? .. I can only assume its a full handed face slap...If thats the case then yes they are more painful than a punch most of the time.. When I worked as a Bartender years ago there was an African bouncer we had who specialised in that one....not pretty..face stings for hours and a huge red handprint on a persons face...
