a fair percentage of the 32 Godz have been stolen over the years; on this forum it was common to have owners' bleating [myself included] about having a GTR 32 disappear without trace. so i expect they are now either, trashed, bashed, buried, or reduced to indivual parts. the more pristeen of of those stolen are probably in back yard sheds awaiting 'rebirth ' as prices improve. -

would like to attend but the 'tyrany' of distance [Qld] interfers again. beaut idea on the register. I agree with previous Poster re the absence of R32 GTR on the road these days...once there were many...now there are few. one day we will want to know where they all went, so let's have a Register!!. -
hi, I imported a '92 GTR myself three yrs ago, one owner, grade 4, full logbook and svc history, 28K km, no prang history or touch up paint and overall vgc. cost just under $30k. [landed registered insured] this type of car is now more expensive but, to counter that , the $AUD vs JPY is now more favourable. good luck

I will be there about 9pm. my 'module' is now reregistered and ready to go. if no one there I will just do short cruise; Cavill Av,etc

I've been travelling in the US for the last 6 mths, so missed the meetings. will be at the Feb night though. good to keep this a regular thing. whilst in the States I went to the '2011 Sturgis Motor Cycle Rally...200,000+ bikes..one small town [sturgis]...one week!!. fantastic.

I enjoyed the night; especially the Cavell Ave section. overall a neat, tight little run, I lost you at the Casino, and although I knew the coffee destination, I had something else to get to; time became the problem. not to worry; hope to get to the next meet. a cool night; interesting/knowledgable guys, and girl!!. regards

is the sat 4th June still a goer?.

thieving bastds; continue to steal cars without having to face meaningful consequences. punishments for stealing cars are so ridiculously light that the thieves are willing to take the risk of being caught. the arshole that stole my GTR was given a jail sentence and ordered to pay restitution by the magistrate. then, on appeal, the magistrate's sentence was quashed by a District Court Judge; the thief was out of jail and back on the streets after only serving a few months. the police are overwheled by car theft, they can't keep up with the volume. pehaps this is because the courts keep turning the thieves back out onto the streets!!!. anyway, good luck with your car; hope you get the car back and some justice.

Best Site/company To Use For Importing An R32 Gtr V-Spec 2
changi replied to Mason7's topic in Importing Vehicles
I imported my GTR and still believe it was the the best way to go; with the $AU strong at present now is probably a good time. the import process is not difficult; it is buying a car before actually seeing it that is a bit tricky. unless you can go to Japan to source the car yourself you will have to find someone [an agent] to buy a car that will not disappoint you on arrival in Aus. I went to Japan to source my car, or course this adds to the cost, but gives piece of mind. all depends how much on how much you want that 'special' car. your choice {the R32] is the iconic GTR; look for a good, unmolested example. they are a great car. -
looking forward to this gathering. will there be any R35 attending?

did the cops catch the low-life that stole the car??.
