don't bother asking Leo hey hahaha

yeah we'll see how this thing progresses hey, if my car is ready by AutoSalon i'll be advertising and hopefully it sells

then R33 GTR time hehe...

in saying that, there should be a GTR owners club somewhere around here?

Same here , our newer faster car was replaced with the slower older car that still beat you :D:D:D

Bart, i dont care....i dont even like you (anymore) :) :) :D

We had reliabilty issues and you know it....without those, we would have beat you by a week LOL

Mate, as we are talking about road cars, and the measure of ALL road cars is probably Targa Tasmania,

do you know what won TT this year? HINT: it was not the new GT-R or the Porsche 997 and definitely not a R34 GT-T ! :D

PS, learn to type in english....

LOL?? dunno how to quote properly FTL

thanks for proving my point anyway :D

thing is, all EVO's are divided into chassis style...

EVO I/II/III all have the same chassis and look similar

EVO IV/V/VI have the same concept

EVO VII/VIII/IX - you get the picture...

headlights and tail-lights are basically nearly all the same... body too, tiny enhancements as the cars develop...

they have many more models than Skylines do in that way... ie. how R34 has non-turbo, single turbo and twin turbo... (similar to 7/8/9)

blah blah blah, look i'm getting ready for exams okay but you know the deal

haha Mark yeah i was talking to Leo about this, at least 15 guys i reckon to start off with have R34's but i mean i don't want something that excludes other Skyline owners you know?

i don't know, like i mentioned before, there will have to be massive thought put into this before anything develops, good luck to it all...

in saying that i would proudly be a part of such development

lol i have NO idea what TurboX was talking about...

as for Billy's suggestion, surprisingly enough it has been discussed by some R34 owners before... to have an R34 club...

just like Perth-S15...

as for R34's going to cruises, i know at least 10 that would join, thing is... it would be nowhere near as active as SAU and nor with the forums be umm... i don't think useful...

as for having a mini-club and cruises on a regular basis it is not a bad idea, thing is... it might be offensive to others out there that DON'T own R34's...

and what happens to the folk that sell their R34's but want to remain in the club and end up buying other cars?

will they be allowed to attend in their new car?

it all gets complicated, just saying, if you want to organise something like this it's not a bad idea at all... you'll just need to put heaps of effort and thought into it...

oh yeah, to the comments EVO's eat GT-T's...

WHY DID EVERYBODY TELL ME TO KEEP MY GT-T WHEN I COULD'VE GOT MY BROTHERS TME THEN!?!?!

come on, TME 6.5 is better package than EVO VII *shakes head* ;) lol

tl;dr

lulz.

Sounds elitist.

Tristan, I'll join your club.

Then when my new turbo is on I'll start a +400rwhp w/gate R32 club. I'll then rock up to your elitist 34 cruises, smoke it up and disappear before the cops rock up to reem all you snobs.

    • I found a supplier for an arm in NZ. https://thrashgaragenz.com/products/nissan-skyline-v35-z33-350z-front-lower-straight-arm-rh-side?srsltid=AfmBOopMdfCFDc_8yVZZ9kq5nIngPHRTBzUU8v4SAptJaRO52Wjs0bC6 I looked closely at the photo of that one and the Z1 arm, and it's the same bloody arm. Scratches all match in the photo 😂 How hard is it to change that joint? Also they seem to be listing two options https://thrashgaragenz.com/products/nissan-skyline-v35-z33-350z-front-lower-straight-arm-balljoint-rh-side?_pos=1&_sid=229acde44&_ss=r And now I have no idea what size I'd need yay
    • Ill review it again, from memory when I first saw some of Trailer Park Boys I wasn't a huge fan. I ended up at Letter Kenny after watching Shoresy, which is a bit ass backward, ha ha
    • "lol dunno" either But like you, I can't see any reason they would need to be different LHD to RHD
    • I agree with you WRT the hard top. MX5's may be one of the better looking soft tops but I cannot think of ANY car, EVER that looks better with a soft top vs a hard top (or a designed roof). At all, ever. I also feel this way about the C5 Vette, the Z06 looks horrible compared to it's original form, it has an exaggerated version of the differences you're talking about.
    • Hey crew, Failed my WOF cause of a lower control arm, and I've decided to hit both arms, and also the compression rods at the same time(seems they're gonna be the most likely upcoming failure points from some discussions with the lads over on the G35 reddit). I've looking at these form Z1:  https://www.z1motorsports.com/front-suspension/hayaku-automotive/hayaku-g35-front-compression-rod-p-40716.html https://www.z1motorsports.com/front-suspension/hayaku-automotive/hayaku-g35-front-lower-control-arm-p-40674.html I asked Z1 if they'd work as it's the same platform, just RHD vs LHD. I basically got told "Lol dunno". Specifically they aren't aware of any difference but can't guarantee fitment as they haven't done it on a 350GT. So guess I'm asking is if there is any issues with using 2005 G35 coupe suspension parts on a 2005 350GT coupe? Orginally I thought it could be something in the way of the arms that each control arm is designed to be positioned around, but that'd be an engineering nightmare for Nissan needing two different shaped control arms 😅
