i would love to come and meet/cruze with you guys but

1) i don't speed for no reason, and

2) my car wouldn't keep up with all of yours...!

you're welcome to come on any cruise.

I'll keep ya company if ya dun mind cruising along with an older guy :)

as I'm getting older I'm getting more scared than 10 yrs ago...

so I also don't speed for no reason, and mild mods on my car wont keep up with some other beasts out there. stock tyres, stock suspension, stock turbo...

True.

Cruising through GOR, you'd miss a lot of beautiful scenery if you go too fast... kinda the right way to sit back for relaxed cruising, enjoying the scenery, just like when I travelled to Tasmania....

yah but speeding is much more fun.....

Go to the track. Safer with lots of run-off areas in case you overshoot a corner.

boom there is the limiter...oh well...

Get Apexi RSM or PowerFC :-), oh and a matching speedo.

yessss, max knows all about that ey max? :)

Dan got the photos developed but they came out really bad man!!

Blame it on at your work haha. Took it there and their machine stuffed up, had to wait for a while, printed the wrong size and the colour are really dull. The gave me 2 copies though, you can have the other set if you want. But nothing flashy or pro.

Guys the GOR was great fun, but some bit was like a race just to keep up hehe. I guess that is what happy when there is open straight road with 20 odd Skylines haha.

Maybe the next cruise should be a nice relaxing one not too far. Something to show off our cars hehe. Anyone for a Chapel St Cruise haha j/k. 20 cars go in 5 cars come out, the rest CANARY hehe.

The GOR cruise has speed limit of 80-100

Nothing wrong taking a corner at that speed limit if both your car and you are capable to do it. I know my car can't, shocks could be worn, tiny stock rear rubber, I was only doing 40-60 on most tight corners. that's like at least 20kph below the limit.

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
