i2icho
I just installed my FMIC on the weekend The day after the install had had two joiners blow off when under a full load, So that night i reconnected all the pipping tightend all of the clamps really tight then last night the rubber(stock)90 degree bend which runs from the passenger side of the cooler tore straight down the seam when running around about a constant 10 psi for a couple of seconds. Has anyone had a similar problem when connecting a after market cooler to the stock hoses. Where abouts can i get a Silicone 3'' silicone bend from and will it be any better than the stock nissan rubber bend? Ronin 09
do your pipes have a lip around the edge? if not I would suggest beading them to help the hose stay on. R31Nismoid
Just have a 'lip' welded around the edge of the piping will stop the clamp slipping off etc Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/223557-silicone-bends/#findComment-3938777 Share on other sites
