Hi guys,

I've got a couple of extra consult interface cables. I bought one for myself and it was cheaper for me to buy a few extra to save on postage.

The cables are brand new and are really good quality compared the last type that I bought which was just a PCB, these are sealed units and have a proper connector. Doesn't come with software, but ECUtalk is great and a few other free bits out there do the job nicely (i can provide you with some links if needed). The interface comes with a brand new serial cable too which is about 1.8m i think, and will connect up to any laptop with a serial post connector.

For those who dont know, Consult interface can be used to download fault codes from the ECU and get realtime data from the car (RPM, speed, injector duty cycles, water temp, 02 sensors, heaps of other sensors, too many to list, can also give 0-100 times). These cables are a lot of fun to play with!

Im after $100 each, delivery is about $8.

Cheers

Yeah, most have them near the fuse block on drivers side. Seems to be a bit difference from year to year. I know on my 94 R33 GTST its a white connector (14 pins) right near the fuses under the steering column. Apparently nissan started using these from 1989 onwards and cover most models.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
