factory spacers?? doesn't sound right..

a lot of those on the G35 forums run spacers because it gives the car a nicer look with the wheels flush with the guard rather than sunken in a bit. they're not legal though in any shape or form

also, finding a set of OEM 19s isn't an easy task. i think the best way to get a good set is to get some shipped over from the USA. you could get a good set with new tyres shipped for around 2k - 2.5k which is cheaper than buying from japan or locally in many instances

I've been checking the various forums incessantly.. can't find any locally unfortunately. Still likely cheaper from the USA due to volumes. Don't any of you go stealing my wheels!

I suppose my 2003 6MT doesn't have an interface for the Tyre Pressure Sensors?

Any ideas what a set of stock 18" rims is worth locally?

Well funny that.. you have the OEM 18s and want the 19s, I have the OEM 19s and want the 18s, only problem is, I dont want to sell my 19s :ninja: too bad ur in Melbourne too as I can't find any OEM 18s anwhere either.

Best thing about using OEM wheels is that it sits perfectly on the hubring without requiring the use of a plastic centric hubring locator

Ha! Come on, you know you want them!

Does anyone know if I can use the Tyre Pressure Sensors on my 2003 coupe or is it only an option from 2004 onwards?

Nismo (and all those who are interested),

I found out at the last minute that the tyres were completely unroadworthy (thought they'd be ok for a few weeks) so I had to put on a set of brand new Hankook K104s (225/45 front, 245/45 back) to last me until the new wheels arrive.

I was originally going to sell the rims without useful tyres, but if you are still interested in paying a fair price with 99% tyres, then the answer is definitely yes.

    • The fancy pants red shock tower brace is finally incoming from MX5 Mania, getting it shipped from 'Merica has been a long and problematic process, and GWR, the 'Merican supplier will not ship directly to consumers outside of the US, Mania basically had to order a heap of them, the colour choice was silver, or red, and we all know anything red adds 5 killerwasps of dynotorques..... Whilst it does fit over a 2.5, and I've seen a few photos and videos of it being installed and fitting, google also says it might get real close to the FAB9 intake front runner, people in the US says it does fit with the FAB9 intake, except for one person who said it slightly touched.......so there is that.....LOL..... As it seems that I am the first in AU to have this combination of parts there's no local knowledge about fitment, so I'm just a willing guinea pig in this endeavour, I'll cross my fingers and toes and hope for the best In other news, I ordered stuff from China  on the same day I ordered the 23° silicone bend from Victoria, the stuff from China arrived a day ago, the 23° silicone bend is still travelling around Australia thanks to Australia Post, and "may" be here next week
    • Very good news...I contacted Racebox about it last night. My car is a 2016 so remains to be seen if it is compatible, requires a TCU swap, or is impossible.
    • What ECU are you running? This is probably the biggest question. If it's a PowerFC, I'd probably change the ECU and get something newer that will handle the injectors in a nicer way.
