Hey i just wanted some advice on a few things.

Ill explain what my goals are and hope you can push me in the right direction, so any advice or thoughts are most welcome.

I have an r33 gtst series 2. I have a greddy fmic, k&n pod filter which is enclosed, full 3 inch exhaust with split dump pipe. Im planning on buying a r33 gtr fuel pump. I only wana run 10 to 11 psi with my stock turbo.

I have two questions:

I dont really wana upgrade injectors but i want to have my stock ones professionally cleaned (is that worth it). Is there such thing as high flowing stock injectors and is that worth it? Or should i get r33 gtr injectors? What are your thoughts on that?

My other problem is i dont know what ecu to get. What ecu would be worth getting? Im not after massive power, i just want a car thats quicker then stock ones and that can at least beat everyday wrx's, 200's etc. So what ecu or other option if there is one should i get?

Obviously once i get more power ill be like most of us on here and want even more, so taking into consideration that i MIGHT one day wana upgrade turbo and injectors etc. But for now im concentrating more on the mods i have and mentioned.

If you have any other thought on what i should do or change please advise me cause im always interested in other peoples opinions when it comes mods.

Cheers.

Hey my car has 73xxx km's, whether thats true or not i have no idea but i like to believe it haha.

Ive been a member since last year and ive done alot of browsing, and when i say alot i mean alot.

I know i can read about stuff relating to what i wana know but i still have to put the pieces together and decide whats best which is why im asking to get a direct answer for what is actually best.

Plus the fact that many things were covered years ago, so im thinking they might be a little out of date and better theories or results are better suited to what is best for my car.

Thanks, im hoping to get some more answers.

Injectors - You can't use GTR ones, they have a different feed and impedence to GTST injectors. You can't use high flowed injectors with a stock ECU so you need to do the ECU first or both at the same time. Don't bother with the GRT fuel pump, it's the same age as yours and a Walboro or Bosch can be had for not much more.

ECU - PowerFC's are coming back down in price now and can be tuned almost anywhere although the Haltech E11v2 seems to be the flavour of the month at the moment. The PowerFC will suit most unless you are chasing big power and works out about half the cost of the Haltech.

2nd'd.. new few pump (bosch 040 is nice). wont need new injectors at 10 or 11 psi on the stock turbo.. at 10psi you can even get away without an ECU upgrade although it will get you another 20hp if you chose to get it and it means down the track you can replace injectors and turbo and chase more power.

Hey thanks for the replies.

Ill be getting a second hand r33 gtr fuel pump for $100. A few questions regarding the fuel pump are is it different from an r32 gtr fuel pump (i dont want to get an r32 gtr fuel pump thinking its an r33 gtr fuel pump)? How can i identify that its an r33 gtr fuel pump?

Also what should i do to it before installing it (such as changing the sock thing etc) and is it a direct bolt on?

Thanks.
