im gonna head up to doncaster at bout 2am 2:30am ish and i think b3za is comming too and gonna try go from that end and see how far we can get as i rang eastlink information centre and they said it will be opened up in sections so fingers crossed

saw a report on the new tonight that different people from eastlink are giving different times, some are saying midnight, some 8am some midday, there speculating that there trying to confuse people so they dont turn up all at once and cause a traffic nightmare.

Yer im gonna be heading down with bez aswell, might try convince leigh to wake up and come too. :laugh:

Freeway from Wellington was ROOOTED!!!! backed down to one lane what a joke... Better be open tomoz morning i need to go to doncaster and that will get me there quicker :D

I would take a helicopter tomorrow Mav..

3 million victorians will be on the road in the morning all wanting to be the first to use Eastlink

i just got off it IT WAS MAD!! went with CAJFLY & Leigh! and few other mates woo im representing skyline first on at the highstreet entrance with about 2-3 skylines behind me haha. cops were everywhere. and i loved the cop convoy leading at front!

yeh wasnt bad saw a few police cars on my way home from high street there was a sculpture on the right of sum green thing and there was an under cover cop car sitting behind it. .... its all good as long as u dont go over 100 as police are everywhere. i think a few cars got a bit peed off with 3 skylines side by side taking up the whole free way a few times. lol

      Right, but not just first manual, but the shifter is on the right (wrong?) side for the land of the free too.... Anyway, good find, 260RS got rare as soon as people realised what was under the skin

      Thanks for posting this up, and its always nice to see a way to use a newer/more available part to keep the old stuff going. One thing I want to highlight from your write up is that you used the old gear. I am pretty sure the RWD R34 and AWD R33/34 senders would have different number of teeth because they have difference diff ratios; can you confirm? Just something for people to keep in mind if they make this change

      some days eh? The keyless entry and interior light on/off with the key will be controlled by the Body Control Module, but I'm not certain where that is or what it looks like (you might get lucky with a search to get a part#, which could be printed on it). I'd start at the A pillar/ Under dash/kick panel on the driver's side

      It might be hit and miss, but Nissan Genuine Parts and Pitworks are not the same thing, although both are available from Nissan Dealers with Nissan Part Numbers. Nissan Genuine Parts are the OEM stuff, Pitworks are their attempt to get people back from generic parts makers
