Did anyone catch the list in, I think it was U! Magazine which is a pullout from The West newspaper?

Well I did. The list in also online. Do you want to take a look at the Males of Week 3 for me, is that? I think it is....

I was saying to myself last week at how I was glad that no one from the car scene saw it.

I guess I'm wrong... lol

(I rarely read this part of the forum)

It has been over two weeks since it came out and I'm still getting asked about it at photo shoots I rock up to...

Client - 'Hey Matt, I swear I saw you in the paper not long ago'

'No, wasn't me' *looks up in air*

My editor at work is the guy above me (online) or next to me in the liftout. He has been getting swarmed by girls since it came out...or should I say mingers, fatties, white trash & girls that put more cock in their mouth than food.

  • 2 weeks later...

UPDATE: It all gets worse now, as my editor and I are now in PERTH'S HOTTEST BODIES run by PerthNow.

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0,21...5005370,00.html

I entered as a joke, thinking I wouldn't make the cut and then i get the call this morning from my editor to say we're in there. HAHAHAHA!! I purposely sent the nominations to lots of my actual 'hot bodied' friends but I guess none sent their pic in :S

Cmon fellow SAUWA members, vote for your fellow member Matt P!! :):D I might win a massive $100 lol.

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
