Hey Guys

The June Group Buy for these was really successful, to the point of selling out all stock. A few are already pre-sold from the new batch that is in production as we speak so get your orders in!!

For the guys that just ran GTR's at SUPERLAP on the weekend, this has got to be one of the cheapest ways to gain some time on the track, any track & for everyone else, you'll get the same results for the same reason- these units work & work EXTREMELY WELL :P

Take a look at the link below & if you've got any other Q's or want to place an order, PM me. Units should be back in stock in the next wk or so with more Ruzic Engineering products to come. Stay Tuned!!

Well July has fast become September, the world as we know it is thawing out & if you haven't already got one of these in your GTR, it's only a matter of time 'til you're beaten by someone who has :P

Couple of units in stock & as always, first in first served!!

hey mate, I dont know if you are aware of any similar products on the market.... at the moment I have a extreme Torque split controller

which I bought about 18 months ago... seems to do the job... but it doesnt have a display and since my car is a gts4 it doesnt have any torque readings in the cluster like I believe the gtr ones have... so the only way I can sort of tell the torque is split is that my steering goes harder..

just wanted to know how this compares if you have heard of other brands... would this be any better then others besides having a display???

regards,

Adam

Hey Adam

Yep there are other 4WD controllers out there & compared to this unit they are all pretty basic. As a comparison, most other controllers only modify the signal in a linear way, meaning the 4WD responds exactly the same, just sooner (depending on the 1-10 setting) which this unit emulates in Map 1 (see below for how it does this).

If you take a look at the manual below on page 6 it will show you the comparison of 5 of the 8 available maps, with the solid black line being Map 1, the equivalent of most other controllers out there.

Not only does the Ruzic Engineering controller offer several curves for the response of the 4WD, it also has the ability to bring that response in earlier or later, depending on how the chassis responds & how much power the car is putting down. You can go from a very aggressive & fast-reacting torque split all the way back to predominantly RWD if so desired thru the ability to toggle between 2 map settings on-the-fly which makes it perfect for the Drags or anytime you may want the back of the car to get a bit loose & still have the ability to instantly go back to 4WD at the flick-of-a-switch :P

so with map 5 and the gain at -80 could one do burnouts in the staging area then toggle map 2 with maybe +50 at the christmas tree

obviously i know about the toggle part of the question just looking for something to put the car in 100% rwd for RWD action and easy dyno days and would like an occasional track day one day too

Hi Madaz,

The controller has been built for circuit racing and will not help you with drag racing. I am looking at building a drag controller (hopefully next year) specialising in this. If you want to do a burn out you can put a switch on the fuse. Dirtgarage builds these as kits so send him a PM and I'm sure he will help you out.

Unfortunately I have not been able to get in touch with Lunatikk for a while and am arranging another member to represent my product(s) on this forum for group buys. In the mean time please PM me if you are after a unit. I will offer a 10% discount for any inconvienience. I hope this temporary arrangement is ok with the forum moderators.

I do have another batch of units being built and should be ready soon. Let me know if you want to pre-reserve yourself a unit.

Paul Ruzic

Hi Paul

thanks for replying, i have seen those fuse things and the dial sort to dial out or in attessa just didn't think the fuse could just be pulled on the R33 due to pre-load on the attessa system with the R33/34

Sorry you are right. I am in a R32 GTR state of mind. I don't think you can electronically disable the front drive to the R33/R34 GTR.

While you can not disable it totally, you can disable it enougth to do a burn out. For the R33 pull the 15amp fuse from the right hand side of the fuse pack.

Hi Madaz, this question is a bit off topic of the controller as I didn't build it for burn-outs etc and have not had a good look at the drag unit for that purpose yet. I think you would get a better answer in the tech area of the forums.

yeah npz John

as it turns out i went to a dyno day on the weekend and a guy had one of your units and said it was great i sort of want the best of both worlds and i don't think its ever going to happen

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
