I have a study full of posters, limited edition blockmounts and, most importantly, her long suffering patience for me and my "car nerdiness"

*neglects to mention 99% of it is V8 supertaxi related  *

for christmas my misses 'stole' my first ever autosalon trophy and 'hijacked' my phone for a second just enough time to get my fibreglassing guys number to get the number of the photographer to get a print and put it all together without me even noticing!!! greatest gift ever! she understands my prioity tree

lmao @ your missus matt.

not suprised though.

babes i run through dont know what a skyline is until i say "fast and furious...skyline...round lights....wins at the start"

Isn't that how we all started out?? lol

my girlfriends say that to me "is that the one off fast & the furious"

One of my friends the other day said "Melski can you teach me what a skyline is?" lol

I have a really bad habit of training girls up on the (sometimes) subtle differences of skylines...

My mates girlfriend (he's also into skylines), we tought all the main differences between a GTST and a GTR, and she could actually explain what they are!

A friend of mine can now spot a series 1 or 2 33 GTST from behind... I've been working on her for a while now :)

Shanus: That's awesome!

That's awsome man....even I'm still learning that stuff!!! How ever I've taught myself the majority of things I know about ars and skylines. My ex taught me the basics...then google, wiki and forums practically raised me lol

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
