post-34523-1217585562_thumb.jpgLate 1990 GTR Extra Tidy Show quality paint, Well serviced, Low KLM 72000, 33 GTR Alloys, Tein suspension, Oil cooler, brake upgrade, new tyres & extra clean all round. Ideal for someone you doesn’t want to pay for re-spray or engine rebuild, hard work complete just enjoy

Hi Late 1990 32 GTR: Imported as personal import. I had a couple of guys looking for me in Japan with the brief of low klm, not thrashed and in excellent condition. One of the brokers that I got a couple of cars from previously had a family member that purchased a GTR from his uncle. I requested a Black Metallic one as well just to differentiate from the common Gun Metal Grey and rental car White. The car is still under 72000klm, I know you can’t always trust the klm but the odometer all lines up. Like anyone I go by the interior, compression, driveline and my mechanic always raves that it’s the tightest Skyline he has driven in years. Basically I didn’t want a car that had been thrashed that I would have to deal with the high maintaince costs and repairs, I have had huge bills before and I would prefer to pay the extra cash as it saves in the long run. * I am big on servicing and prevention and I give priority to having the car tidy.

Body & Paint: The car came over in good condition but like all cars it had lost its gloss. Being a bit fussy I got a complete respray as I wanted the car to be in show condition especially if I was going to be keeping it for a long time. I got a professional with a good reputation to complete the job as they do a lot of show cars. At the same time I got electronic aerodynamic side mirrors to modernise the car and the front lip painted to match the car. As well I got the guards rolled front and back to fit bigger wheels and tyres without scrapping and to allow the car to be lowered with coil over’s. * Under the car is extra clean with no surface rust or dings on chassis. I have previously seen a lot of imported cars with heavy marking from transport and jacks.

Suspension & Handling: I went TEIN for the lower control arms and for the coil over’s due to availability for maintanice in the future. I had the suspension guys set the coil over and alignment for street and touring. Overall it’s a tight set up for driving as a daily driver and for tight cornering. Polished front strut bar for stability. Extra Info: 1. removes the deflection at the joint from high cornering loads 2. Provides adjustability of the front track, giving greater clearance between the chassis and wheels (Only recommend 20mm per side) 3. Changes the lean angle of the front shocks by moving the front hubs outwards, reducing roll angles and effectively creating a camber increase

Wheels: I went the classic 33 GTR wheels that are pretty timeless and because I wanted genuine Nissan look. Unfortunately I paid for them when they where still expensive but they are worth it. For tyres I went the low profile Silica compound and they have only done about 2000klm very fresh and sticky.

Interior: We looked for a car that had not been lived in. I have kept it genuine even with the original stereo, pretty rare these day but it’s the only one that sits flush with out gaps. I had the interior steamed cleaned just too fresh it up. Overall the interior in great condition from what you would expect with low KLM’s. I have had the split controller hidden in the console with all hidden wiring.

Engine: Extra fresh engine to protect the engine the first thing I got done was a complete flush and then replaced the oil and flushed again. New oil cooler mounted in the front to maintain oil quality, reduce temperature & wear. Oil filter relocated fitted to make it easier to change filter and drain oil. Car has never been boosted as it’s not what I wanted when tracking it down or what I need. Split controller was recently fitted to enable different torque setting, very useful in the wet as it makes the car handle like its driving in the rain. The controller also enables the car to be switched from 4 to 2 wheel drive, HKS Air filters and extensions have been fitted. # Engine bay, as you can see from the pictures the engine bay is in great condition with not the usual scratches and dings. Instead of the boring flat black engine bay the engine covers have been sand blasted and painted with the Red 34 GTR colours.

Engine Servicing: Oil pressure sensor replaced &a full set of NGK Iridium plugs. Coolant flushed by Red devil Radiators & replaced with Genuine Toyota Timing Belts/Bearings Timing Belt Idler & Tension Bearing, Tensioner Spring, Cam Seals & Front Main Seal. Water pump. Nismo Reinforced Engine Mounts. By increasing the hardness of the rubbed used in the mount bush, it help to protect the engine from damage. Engine vibration is also reduced during acceleration and deceleration. Overall it improves accelerator response, shift feeling and cornering performance. Exhaust 3 inch Turbo back stainless exhaust with high flowed N1 catalytic converter.

Braking: Stainless steel brake lines to reduce wear and increase consistency. Upgraded front disks and new high quality pads all around. All Callipers have been painted 34 GTR Red to match engine.

Price $22950 Yes there are cheaper but you they are usually thrashed and will require engine rebuild, body work and paint to bring them up to scratch. Feel free to call and discuss. Regards Boyd 0408 188 777

Hi, I will consider trades plus majority cash my way. Cheers

hi

still for sale? where in brisbane is the car? has the engine been modified in any way and is the exhaust stock? might be keen to have a look but may be a bit above what i was hoping to spend. is the price negotiable? i am selling a 2003 vectra cdxi hatch 3.2 v6 manual if you had any interest in trade.

Hi Matt,

Yeah still for sale I end up being out of town every time someone wants to look. I have kept the engine stock except for Oil cooler, pod filters, aftermarket computer. Split controller was recently fitted to enable different torque setting, very useful in the wet as it makes the car handle like its driving in the dry. Exhaust 3 inch Turbo back stainless exhaust, front pipes with high flowed N1 catalytic converter. Great note.

I am negotiable but not for any crazy drop, overall I do acknowledge there are cheaper GTR’s but they usually require paint, engine work and have high KLM

I am open to trades with cash my way.

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
