hey

looking at buying some new cams for my r32 gtr to replace the standard ones, i found tomei have good deals with packages. one of the packages they have is a 260* intake and an 254* exhaust. what's the benifit of having a smaller exhaust cam degree???

any info will be much appreciated.

at the moment all its got is dump pipes and an exhaust, but when i do the cams it will get an engine rebuild to replace worn parts, x2 new r34 n1 turbo's, adjustable cam gears, pfc, new fmi, etc, coilovers, sway bars, strut braces front and rear, possible new diff. plus other stuff.

what's the different degree do and or accomplish

With just R34 N1's i would use stock cams and cam gears personally.

Save the cams cash for something else.

Either way the number is the duration, how long its open and then with what lift

the lift was 9.15mm, so would a smaller degree on the exhaust cam help the turbo spool quicker down low or more up top???
